Steps
1. Create a Google Ads Account or Sign In
2. Go to 'Campaigns'
3. Create NEW Campaign
4. Choose a Campaign Objective =
-- Use SMART Campaign to use your GMB Profile or Website to drive the ads traffic and they are typically cheaper ads with broader keyword categories and show up on local search and google maps.
-- Use Search Ads to have more specific settings and keywords for higher CPC but better quality control and clicks.
5. Name Your Campaign
6. Make sure Conversion Tracking is setup
**Suggest using Google Analytics, Call Tracking, & Google Tag Manager
7. Make sure you have your phone number and website linked in the campaign settings
8. Choose a bidding method (either conversions or clicks)
9. Create an Ad Group (name it specific to the product or service)
10. Choose your keywords or keyword categories based on your products or services
11. Start creating the ad copy and ad extensions
12. Review the Ads, Ad Copy, Keywords, and Settings
13. Approve and Launch Campaign
14. Check and Monitor Ads Weekly
