This app is so great. Also, if you're having a voice doubling issue, make sure you uncheck "Add to Stream mix". This happens when you have the SteelSeries Microphone input selected in OBS. Or vice versa. You can keep "Add to Stream mix" checked, as long as you disable the mic in OBS.

Hey guys ! I've a problem here with the app, basically, when I listen to music on google and youtube, I can't control the music volume, or stop it anyway. Wethere I mute the stream song, or lower it down to the max, they still hear the music as lound as it is. Someone knows the answer?

I tried Sonar today and had to revert to Elgato WaveLink as it has much better integration with StreamDeck to see each channels volume levels and adjust up/down. Creating manual hotkeys just wasn't as good a user experience. Hopefully you can develop a plugin. I also dislike how Sonar demands that I set Gaming as the default audio device and then blocks my keyboard volume wheel from working. Please add an option to link the Windows volume controls to the Sonar Master (Personal) volume slider.

so i've had a problem with sonar that i've reported multiple times to their customer support. i run my speaker out to a very powerful external amplifier that doesn't have an easy to access volume control because it's meant to be used with a preamp (speaker out is a preamp) so i use the system volume control. the problem is sonar will randomly crash on my system and when it does my volume goes from say 2 to 100. my neighbors have complained about it, if i'm gaming when it happens i might as well be firing a gun in my bedroom. sonar's solution is "reinstall audio drivers" which i did before i ever bothered contacting them. this problem has been going on for a year (or more) and they give me the same "reinstall audio drivers" answer every time along with "we're working on it." think i might regret ever even trying to use this software and i will never buy another steelseries product again. i get that my situation is unique but in my mind after all this "reinstall audio drivers" is starting to translate into an insult.

Sonar is great but when using AMD ReLive to capture game content while Sonar is on the sound cannot be captured and doesn’t play which is a shame.

this app made my cheap headset sounds like a expensive one. highly recommend specially if your picrophone is barely recording your voice.

Sure would be nice if you were smart enough to show us how to delete the unneeded channels! I don't like scrolling through my audio outputs on my pc to swap which one's currently being used for default. Trying to figure out how to remove one, only to see that when I select one it's greyed out the "Delete" button stopping me from deleting it. Stupid.

Turning off comments on the Alias set-up video is pretty disingenuous. The mic is solid, yet they went WAY out of their way to make some bold, blanket claims to upsell it. Steeleseries, do better.

Actually there is NO access to the mixer settings possible. Since v46 there is an error popup showing which shows a "Fatal Error" whatever you want to choose in the mixer setup. The error is still there in v48 too. Steelseries have to fix it.

This is my next big move only because obs is enabling noise suppression on its own 😅 and have no idea how to disable it it automatically comes on makes my mic sound choppy 🥲
