Making gathers to 1.9 times in this case.
Stay-stitch on 2 mm and 8 mm from the finish line (edge of the cuff and neckline).
This is a rough guideline actually, fine adjustment is required depending on the type of fabric and also inward or outward curve.

一番最初の工程、地縫いからのロックではなくおり伏せ始末にするのは理由があるんでしょうか(?_?) ロックよりおり伏せ始末の方が服の価値が上がるとか、効率がいいとか。。??すみません、ご教示いただけたら幸いです。

あくまで縫い代始末の違いです。 ロックミシンがあればロックの方が折り伏せよりも縫いやすいです。 工程数も少ないので効率も良いですね。 折り伏せ始末の特徴としてはロックミシンを必要としないことと、縫い代がロック始末と違って肌に当たらないことです。 シャツはジャストサイズで着る事が多いため折り伏せ始末の事が多いです。

The pink tape is made of urethane foam with a sticky surface. It is very useful as a guideline for stitching.
