My only negative feedback would be that the hat you demonstrated doesn’t resemble the outcome. I made the entire hat only to find out that you also thought it was too big and the hat at the end it a second rendition. Maybe make another video with the actual end product.

Hand sewing is, for me, very meditative… until I draw blood.

Ok, I'm going to be a horrible viewer and suggest... I wish I could see how it looks in the back because that's where this hat differs from the usual flat cap. Love the hat!

I'm in the process of making mine, now. I'm repurposing an old pair of black jeans, for the main fabric and an old flannel shirt, for the lining. It seems to be going well

Very nice result.❤️I like seeing men doing some sewing. It is a shame that caps do not look good on me. Otherwise I would have made one for myself. I really love your channel by the way😁🙋🏻‍♀️

this question is completely off topic, but the background music is beautiful, could you share the title? I'd love to have it play in the background while working.

I have just finished my cap, it's amazing! I pricked my fingers a lot, but that's just my clumsiness haha. Thanks for the tutorial!!

It s cool how you teach us how to sew. Could you do maybe a waistcoat, jacket and trousers next and then maybe more advanced pieces ( Norfolk jackets, pleated trousers etc. ).

Final product: looks amazingly good...love the 3-piece suit too. Very Duke of Windsor-esque.

Nice job! I learned to sew while in the Army stationed in Germany back in the 70's. Back then the Germans were not too fond of American G.I.'s but since I took the trouble to dress as much like the German gentlemen as I could afford and worked hard on speaking poor but determined German I got along well. I even got an apartment on the economy at a time when the Germans refused to rent to most G.I.'s.

Another great video, thanks for emphasizing the importance of ironing the seams and throughout the construction of any item, it's essential to a smart look in the finished project.

Great video, a flat cap from the 1920s without all the extra panels to make it more slimmer or tapered. Nice and oversized on the sides just how they used to be

I'd recognize that sewing machine anywhere. From what I could see, It's gotta be either a Singer 411G (the Slant-O-Matic series). We had the 401A, 403A and the 404A here in The States. Excellent work on the cap. Best wishes.
