How to Sew a Trouser Fly Front Zipper + FREE template

There is no reason to feel afraid of a fly front zipper. This is how I like to do it after years of fearing this step and I've provided a free template so that you can follow along and practice.

Thanks for the video. I always struggle on where the metal part at the end bottom of the fly must be placed. At times, i top stitch on it😢...please help

Just mark a 1/4" below wherever you've placed it so that you know how to avoid it 😊

I got the pattern but I didn't see a read first file and I'm not sure how to do the sizing.

There isn't a read first file for this one. Also there are no sizes because it is just a template :)

Oh okay. I was kinda confused since on the template says "size 00-24 (see size chart in Read-first file)" so I thought I was missing it lol. I wasn't sure how long to make the pants.
