thanks for all your input as i've made a few of your bags and wallets i had trouble with using the right pieces that did not have a pattern to them. other videos had the measurements throughout the video and this one does not at times. i am reviewing the chart you give and it has helped some i am up to the double zipper part in the video and hoping i will be successful might make it a second time if it comes out okay. look forward to many other projects as they are awesome and so useful

Girl…. You have outdone yourself again!! This is very very nice backpack ❤❤❤. Love it love it. Duck canvas is not sold in the fabric store near me. I love watching you work 😊. I am finishing the larger version. I loved how the written instructions and the video complement each other! I am wondering if you trim the seams allowances before sewing the biais? I don't see another way for the a 1/4 inch seam allowance for the biais will cover the 3/8 inch seam as seen in the tutorial.

Hi Marie, I didn't trim the seam allowances when attaching the bias tape. The 1/4" seam allowance would suffice to cover the raw edges without interfering with the actual seams (personal preference). 1/2" double fold bias tape (1" total width), will cover everything. If you want, you can use the 3/8" seam allowance, and attach the binding simply by following the existing seam line. Hope this helps. Thank you so much.

Yoan i bought the full pattern and making the smaller version i've noticed or can't find how to use the handle holders with the snaps the video or instruction i believe don't show how to use or install them on the bag to secure the handles please let me know about these and where i can see them on the video or instructions i see how to sew them and put the snap on but not where they would be used. so much love your videos and items you teach i've made so many of them and give them as gifts to my friends and family. keep on making these videos thanks so much barbara

joann how short can you make the straps for the small backpack was wondering if the size of 30 is too long . any comments appreciated

hi Barbara, I'm not sure with 30" (it might be too short), I recommend to follow the 44" long measurements called in the pattern (between 40"-44" long strap should be ok).
