A very useful video as I decided to add patch pockets to a pair of linen/canvas shorts I made last summer (just to learn how to do it). My only comment is that next time I would probably not have the interfacing up to & including the 1/4" facing as it created such a thick layer to sew through. Used the "triangle" method to sew the pockets on. When I just couldn't seem to get the "shape" right, I viewed again & angled the outer corners up by 1/2". A good suggestion of yours & made the difference. Thank you.
