If you have very weak or thin nails I recommend not using nail clippers as it can cause your nail to split even more. I use a good quality glass nail file to take the length off of mine

U are very right I made that mistake, they started breaking a good glass file and some good nail strengthener/base coat will leave them perfect

damnn thank you, I've always wanted my nails coffin shaped but then I'd shaped them squared so this helped a lot especially since I have long natural nails

Thanks my nails usually grow so long and in these weird shapes every time I tried to file them they looked like triangles and circles so I stopped😭 until today when my nails were still growing out of control I just clicked on this video and know they look like coffin nails I messed up on only 1 when they grow back in like 4 days I can’t wait to see themmm

If I snip my nails, It will get a split in it later. I have to use a glass file on my nails to take down length and it takes forever but so worth it. I also buff the tops if I have any leftover gel that did not come off from an overlay. Great video

Thank you so much! The files and buffers I buy in bulk off Amazon so probably whatever is standard, I don't even know 😂! I did recently just get a glass file set that I'm trying out. So far it's much more gentle on my cuticles so I'm liking it! ♥

I can’t do this because my natural nails are square/squoval with MAJOR c-Curve they’d be too difficult to “change” with a file

Yes absolutely! They work just like peel base under any nail product.

Clipping nails can cause damage. And I would recommend a glass or crystal file.
