A truly newborn in Son of God's name should respect and apply all the laws and commands written in Torah? The Messiah IS the Father in the flesh who gave the commands. So there are a few commands no longer commanded like the animal sacrifices and building alters because YAHUSHA was the sacrifice, but he did not do away the His Own Will. Few others too if you study. He was the second ''Adam'' and did not sin. So, He gave mankind a second chance. Do you even keep Shabbath? Any who don't obey His commands are not born again. Back then, they knew that wherever "LORD" was written, it was in place of "YHWH". Nothing to do with KJ. This goes back all the way to the ancient Jews. Today, we can also know this. He pre-destines each one of our lives, including when we will die. Our lives on Earth are but a speck of time when considering eternity. Since God is the author of all our lives, He is also the author of when they will end. All of this, works for His glory. If someone lives to be 8 or 80 years old, that is nothing in the eyes and mind of our eternal God. Pray a lot, and also I recommend inviting him to some Christian events that are fun. Especially if you are more attractive/cool than him, he is probably going to be happy to go with you, and once you’re there maybe he can find God

Nowdays is not working as used to be hundred years ago. Are so many wrong,fake,lost christians around that when you want to say something about Christ you are going to irritate. Eat with them, invite them somewhere, be nice,polite, see what kind of problems they have, win their trust, genuinely. Let them feel you care about them because Jesus did this. Only after that person has a good opinion about you, trust you, knows you, only then will open his/her heart. Otherwise we may get same answer as Mr. Washer got it in the plane. Sometimes a good way to approach is to give them something to read, God works in mysterious ways... Me, for example I like to read some materials more than be engaged in a conversation when from first second I may not feel comfortable

To atheists and agnostics, God and the Holy Spirit are just concepts to them. They do not believe. But after they repent of their sins, and are forgiven and they receive the Holy Spirit, the light bulb goes on in their heads because it is a supernatural experience. Not wishful thinking, not a placebo effect. Because God is real. Us Christians are not better than anyone, although after become possessed with the Holy Spirit we are called to walk in holiness just as He is holy. We have only passed from death into life because of Jesus Christ died for our sins and we received Him. I urge you to diligently seek the Lord. @OP, Paul Washer is a special case amongst us men, but he is still imperfect. His wisdom and truth however is deeper than any Christian I have ever learned from directly. You do not differ with him on theological points however, because even if the gospel did not stir you into repentance, that is what it does. There is no other secular story or religious experience that accurately divides man from his ignorance and feeds him Truth. It was designed this way by God, and all of history is a heraldry of this exact fact.

@@straightouttadundalk to the best that I knew how I was born again. I was brought up Catholic, but never felt very engaged in Church. It was too ritualistic. That's why I sought out people who were living the faith. That's why I quit my former life and moved halfway across the globe in search of a deeper comittment in Christ. It did work for some time, and I don't regret the decision to join a mission. Like I said, it's a really subjective thing. For some Jesus does the trick, for others not so much. I don't know what more I could have done or not done. Everyday I question everything. Everyday I questioned my faith, made sure it stood up to the test. Everyday I question my current worldview as well. I don't know what my mindset will be in a day or a week or 10 years from now. I can't force myself to believe anything. On the contrary, I used to be an atheist 😊 it was a faithful friend of mine that I would argue relentlessly with who never gave up on me that eventually softened my heart to turn to God, and when I did God met me and changed everything. Like Paul said though, he lived it. He wouldn’t shove it down my throat against my will, but he did start those conversations, and he wasn’t afraid to answer my questions, even when I intentionally just tried to stump him. As I write I’m slightly convicted because I want my life to reflect this too, but I pray we both find grace to love these people more!

Research the origins of the name ''Jesus'' and see how it is ''Jee Zeus'' the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek as well as ''earth pig'' in Latin. Research what ''Lord'' means and ''God'' as well. Why in the KJV is there ''Name of the LORD'' all over the place when ''LORD'' is not a name? Why is there ''LORD'' in caps and ''lord'' in lowercase? Because KJ took His name out. Research that and Pray for understanding. Messiah walked the earth as a dark skinned Hebrew man ''Yahusha'' not a white man named Jesus. The Scriptures have been watered down much over the years by the enemy who is the god of this world, satan and he knows the Scriptures better than anyone except the Almighty YAHUAH Himself. Many books have been taken out as well. Salvation is in the blood of Yahusha who is YAHUAH in the flesh. YAHUAH is the Name of the Almighty and His Name is very important just as the Scripture speaks. Those few truly born again obey the Torah just as messiah spoke and are not in religion. Those two plus billion christians can't fully obey it because they are just in religion and not filled with the true Ruach (Spirit) of Elohiym Almighty. Christianity is Truth mixed with lies. Many are called and FEW are chosen. Fear and Obey YAHUAH the Almighty whose name is written in mankinds DNA and History and Original Text.

Here's the thing,the Bible is powerful enough. The issue is the reasoning that atheist people are entrapped in. No amount of evidence is ever enough.

Also, emotions are in the head? What about radical changes in the life of the believer? Not someone who was desperate. What about miracles that are visible? You know,this conversation is not new. If someone is convinced something is true and wants to achieve a goal they will change their behavior to achieve that goal. It isn't exclusive to believers, for example, someone interested in becoming a star football player will make changes to ensure that goal. Even if they are convinced that will happen if they do the optimal training consistently that doesn't mean they're guaranteed to be in the NFL one day but they persist all the same. "What about miracles that are visible?" Miracles do not give credence to the existence of a divine being, without a way to pin point the cause of said miracle it is just that, an unexpected and unlikely event. If miracles are a part of this beings nature then it ceases to be a "miracle" and is just a part of that being's ability. So hypothetically if a divine creature could intervene in some miraculous way then it calls into question why that being doesn't do so consistently. Why would this being who can intervene choose to do that only sometimes when doing so incurs no loss to that being? Just a few thoughts that came to mind reading your post.

@@Daniel-lz9ps No. Very common misconception unfortunately spread despite constantly being corrected. The options aren't "something form nothing" or "a god." There's more than this and both of those answers are less rational than the alternatives.
