Rev match doesn't hurt your engine that's s myth don't fall in it. All Rev match does is keeps your engine engaging nothing much. It's most common in high cc engines named auto blipper all we do here is manual blipping. While learning you will be hurting your bike a little bit but once you learned it you will be amazed fr.

For the smooth gear shifting Downshift the gear at 4000rpm ( This applies till 3rd gear) If you want to downshift from 3rd to 2nd then bring the speed down to 25-23 kmph and shift. If you want to downshift from 2nd to 1st then bring the speed down to 15-13 kmph and shift. Same applies to upshift as well. This way your bike will run smoothly and get some mileage too. Never ride at higher rpm all the times as bike will consume more fuel. Once in a while it is ok as you want to have fun too but not all the times specially if you want to keep the bike with you for a long time. Ride Safe and Live Long.

Bro less then 7 to 8000 rpm you can down shift its not harming your engine 🙂 Its just consuming some extra fuel

@@rishab.8985 But the sound it makes without rev matching is very harsh like Tak tak, I don't like to do it... downshift while your bike is slowly decreasing speed and the sound is very smooth.... But everybody has it own opinion...

The way you press clutch it depends bro, because I set my bike's clutch at half clutch because I use only one finger for the clutch like Motocross style... For beginners they use 4 finger, professional use two or one finger according to clutch adjustment.

@5:15 That is NOT an engine heating signal, that an 'Engine Malfunction' light, which turns on when the OBD detects an issue with emissions, ignition, fuel or exhaust systems. Except that wrong info, rest of the video about proper gearing is good one!

Bro when ever I downshift in my passion plus a Tek sound arises.is there any trick to get rid of this? Can I revmatch in passion plus for downshifting without the sound?

Been riding for 7 now and from what I can tell that *tek* sound should not come when downshift. Especially if you feel like it's coming from engine ie maybe clutch plates. Try not to downshift bike at high speed. Let it slow down usually below 40kmph if the bike has 4 gears or depending on which gear you're at. (The speed at which you'd upshift is applicable for downshifts too) . If you're shifting correctly then I'd assume it has something to do with inside the engine in which case get your bike checked by a mechanic. Ps . I wouldn't recommend doing rev match for bikes below 5 gears . I tried it and it just sounds like I'm hurting the engine. Even for bikes that have 5 gears it is good only at max gear and bringing it down to 4/3 gear . Lower than that and bike might get *tek* sound after a year 😆 same is applicable for low cc 6 gear bike .
