Having sold nearly 1,000 albums online, I also briefly discuss some of the best places to sell your records online! Finally, when discussing the US Postal Service Media Mail option, I talk about the benefits of media mail, when items ARE considered media, and when you cannot use the media mail.

You can ship a letter of something like a birthday card inside the package via Media Mail. It's called a first class insert and it adds the current stamp value (right now, .68) to the total cost of the package. Also, if your window clerk is a music junkie and collector like I am, be prepared to talk about music. It's always nice to find someone with the same interests.

I noticed that since eBay is more widely known, people tend to ask for a higher price, and eBay takes 12%. Discogs I believe takes 9%. But I've bought from both.

Yep, I believe you are right. However, when Discogs increased from 8-9%, they also started caking the same cut from shipping which they hadn’t done before.

@booieaguilar4792 I’m not entirely sure. I haven’t sold anything on eBay in a hot minute… I tend to prefer Discogs even though the market is likely bigger on eBay.

@@AndyFenstermaker I've never sold on either, and I have about 85 records to sell. Most are brand new, still in the shrink

I got them at IKEA. Look up “Kallax” - they are the PERFECT shelf for vinyl so long as you build them correctly.
