So I love the panoramic features. How can you display them on a computer or a phone and be able to rotate the image like you did in the RC remote?

You can only see the 360 “live” on the dji app, although you can download a certain still image of the 360 photo on your app, but just one frame of you choice from that 360

Had a mini 2 and upgraded to 3 with inscreen remote and could not be happier. The mini 2 was great to cut my teeth on a modern drone but the 3 is just a fantastic upgrade. The one thing had not done is panoramic pictures. This video was fantastic! Thank you!

I feel dumb. I spent a battery trying to figure out how to do 360. While charging I watched this video and found out that you can scroll the shooting mode menu. I feel dumber, but thankful!

Does anyone know how to export 360 photos? It only works for me on the remote. But as soon as I save to iPhone, it turns into a warped photo.

Mini 3 Pro got some convenient features especially for beginners and of course portability and less restrictions are always a plus for me. Can hardly wait to fly this mini drone.

I couldnt believe how fast it was, I thought the video was sped up. But the mini 3 is still no better than the mini 2 as its upward gimbal ability isnt even being used. I guess thats intentional because stiching sky images is next to impossible as there are no features for the software to recognize and navigate by.

Brilliant video, I've just done a sphere shot. In the DJI app it rotates and is very flexible, however when I export the file I lose this rotation etc. Is there any way to keep this facility ? (ps I did get a screw driver with my Mini 3pro received last week, you must have been unlucky)

Same here, in the DJI app looks great, but once I download it that top part looks blur.. Even when I try to share it on social media, looks as a normal flat photo with the top blurred

I would love to know how to be able to share the globe/sphere pano. It is kind of a boring image and distorted when you save to your phone and view. Is there a way to save it as a looping video? If you find out, I trust you will share.

Thanks, this made my take the final decision to order the mini 3. I have a small company that makes 360 photos and it has been somewhat hard to find if the mini 3 still had that function. Test flying for the first time later to day.

Hej Henrik... Har du oplevet problemer med de 360 grader at de ikke passer perfekt.. Har lige tage 2 stk over Helnæs og ud over vandet laver den samme fejl når den har sat dem sammen.. Horisonten passer slet ikke. sammen .

I tried first 360 on the mini 3 Pro with the new screen controller but it wouldn't allow it to downloaded to the controller and the files were not saved on the memory card on the drone or controller... Any ideas?

I am not sure but for some reason I don't have that sphere photo after I took all photos in that photo sphere mode? Also I don't see the panorama photos in fly app? I downloaded them into my pic and they are in separate folder panorama (35 or something photos) but just can't figure out how to make the little planet? Any help

Having tried a handful of 360 panorama shots on my Mini Pro 3, I end up with a band of blur covering maybe 25% to 33% of the top of the image. Does anyone else get this? I'm guessing this is because the gimbal can't point directly upwards? Seems to be a big percentage of image "lost", so it's not exactly a proper 360 pic!

That is difficult to say, but you have the raw so maybe stitch it in a third-party software

On the Mini 2 the DJI software greatly reduces the resolution of the output x9 or 360º Images when saved. Is there a way to save these full resolution with the Mini 3 Pro? Or if you know of a way to export them merged and full resolution with the Mini 2 I'd appreciate the tip. Thanks!

I want to know this as well, what I do now is transfer the dng files into Lightroom and merge them as a panorama. But this way it's not a sphere, just a large image with distorted top and bottom.

On the mini 2 you have to shoot in Jpeg/raw mode. This will give you the normal low res jpeg stitched pano, but it will also make the drone save the raw images individually at their full resolution. You then need to stitch them together in ptgui. This is the only way to get access to the full resolution pano. Which by the way is a massive 180 Mega pixel image on average. I believe the process is the same for the mini 3.

@@IrishActs ptgui is pretty expensive for hobbyists, €150 for full license but without nice functions, €300 for the full package. Just to stitch some photos together...

True, and you do need the pro version other wise you will have vignetting issues. Only the pro version solves that issue. In the grand scheme of things, it's worth the money to have those high resolution stitched images. It's way too much data for the drone to stitch on its own, so it's going to be an ongoing issue with all drones.

@@IrishActs I'm not asking the drone to do it. Just that DJI provide a solution in their app so it can be done easily on the go with iPad/iPhone. It's possible. Like I said, Litchi already allows it in their app.

Nice video, thanks! 😊 Just did some 360 pano test shots. My Mini 3 Pro didn‘t capture the sky part fully, so that I miss the very nice clouds in the final picture. Any experience with this? Couldn‘t find a setting to enhance with the sky pictures.

I like the Little Planet display on the DJI RC controller display that when we touch on the Little Planet it unwrap itself into the Panorama interactive image but unfortunately when we exported it out from the drone , it convert into just the Panorama image minus off the Little Planet . Is anyone know what software that I can reconvert the normal Panorama image into Little Planet that can unwrap out into 360 Pano or how to extract out the exact Little Planet from the DJI apps?

Concerning panoramas in Lightroom, for me there's some kind of file error that makes panorama stitching with DJI Mini 3 images possible in only one of the three modes, often spherical (and not perspective which gives less distortion). Anyone else had/have that problem? And is there a solution?

You can, at least when transfering to your pc/laptop you will have individual dng (or jpg) files.

It's really stupid that the 360° (and even the 180°) pano is not available in vertical mode.! The Mini3 has the ability to capture the whole sky without any need to fill up a gap by pointing up in vertical mode. Really hope DJI will do so in up coming updates.

A note from us who are using LR (or other software) to stitch DNG panoramas. Initially I had no clue where to find the DNG:s... Later I learned this after spending much time searching on the internet: During flight (nota bene you have to take off first!) after selecting wide pano you must go to the three dots in the upper right corner of the DJI Fly app and choose RAW under Camera/Panorama/Photo type. After that your DNG:s are stored in a separate map under DCIM > PANORAMA. This information is not at all available in the manual... Shame on you, DJI. Thanks for informative videos, Henrik.

It was literally a 10 seconds search on the SD card since there are just 2 folders when opening the SD card.
