Well ladies and gentlemen here it is. I’ve been getting tons of DMs and comments about my 2-step and flame map settings so today I’ll show you the secret to make your Honda pop huge flames using Hondata Flashpro. This will also work with Hondata K-Pro and S300. This should work for pretty much any Honda K-Series, B-Series, H-Series, F-Series, J-Series etc. Some cars may require a little different settings but this is a general rule of thumb that works for most cars.

Yeah I mean it’s not necessarily “safe” but not necessarily “unsafe” if used in moderation. And yes you can change the numbers of activation and launch depending on what rpm you want to launch at this is just a guideline

Yeah it’s not for daily driving for some people. I finally stopped running it after dailying the pops for a year straight but always nice to have in your back pocket

@@osvaldocardenas4026 knock is registered by a knock sensor which is like a microphone. when you have a pop the sensor can pick it up as knock even if it was nothing. the more you pop the more flash knocks you will have

Hey, question. I have flashpro but I don't see anything that says Ignition Low. I have Ignition (in cam +), Ignition (in cam -), Ignition (ex cam +), Ignition (in cam -) (ex cam +), Ignition (VTEC) (in cam +), Ignition (VTEC) (in cam -), Ignition (VTEC) (ex cam +), Ignition (VTEC) (in cam -) (ex cam +), so I have no idea what to be editing. Love the video btw. You def made my year on how to do this! On 2 step my si doesnt shoot flames as heavy as id like it. I know its prob cause im runnin tsudo exhaust, and test pipe with stock headers. Any settings i can mess with to improve 2 stepping? Or just raise the rev limiter up ? And then wait for better exhaust and aftermarket header

It’s very hard to shoot flames on 2-step without a 3” exhaust. But also I have new settings I developed since I originally made the video which work way better

Tune Works!. It's just that the car wants to turn off when idling or in neutral with no pressure on gas pedal. Is that the risk of running this tune? lol

Hmmmm usually the tune doesn’t cause issues like that. I would recommend bumping up the rpm for injector overrun restart by a couple hundred and see if it helps. Also bump the idle to 950

Great video!!! Let me tell you she pops and bangs 🤘😂 only issue I’m having is like 30 notifications for the knock sensor 1/2/3 should that be something to worry about? Reading a little about the knock sensor could it just be picking up the combustion taking place?

Could be false knock but also could be real knock happening during on throttle conditions

How were you getting flames while driving in the beginning of the video? I know how you got them on 2 step while On stand still but is it basically the same settings that you already showed us that should make it pop while driving also?

Yes that should make it pop while driving if you follow everything in the video. Best results are with a full 3” exhaust and Catless header for flames

Experiment with changing the fuel activation rpm and bringing it closer to the actual launch rpm and adding fuel in increments of 50% until you reach the desired effects!

Long term not healthy for any motor. But as far as the r18 goes definitely do not run any tune unless you are running a low psi kit. those motors are really meant to stay stock

@@brandonsankar6290 my r18 engine is stock with a turbo attached and tuned to 280hp hondata. Been this way for the pass year and a half.. No engine damages yet.. just regular oil maintenance and big injectors, fuel pump, etc.. Plus i use the car as a daily.

Overrrun fuel cut delay should have nothing to do with ignition cut, that just dumps fuel when you are decelerating and in gear/ engine braking

Without a cat it will definitely burble a little bit but if you’re on a budget just delete the muffler and you should get some really nice pops

That's call "flat shift". You need to have standalone ecu to do that.

Change launch control to the same value as rev limiter. Then change launch deactivation speed to 200MPH. In Anti-lag section put 5000 additional fuel 45 Degree Ignition Retard Minimum activation RPM to 200RPM before your launch limiter Enjoy

Thank you bro that means a lot and I know, trying to push that great content for you guys! In my experience it hasn’t given me any issues. I’ve run a flame tune for 2 years straight with no issues. There might be a little hesitation between gear shifts at low rpms but it’s pretty much unnoticeable. Shouldn’t affect full throttle performance at all since the only changes are out of VTEC. As far as the 2-Step goes, just make sure your car is warmed up all the way and don’t sit on the 2 step for 30 seconds straight and you should be fine. No knock has been recorded by my datalogs while 2 stepping

Both the decel popping and the aggressive two step will get a ton of heat into your header and exhaust valves. I'm building a car to try to compete in SFWD, and I purposefully bought Ferrea Competition Plus exhaust valves just so it'll tolerate the abusive heat repetitively. I don't think stock valves can handle this for too long before burning.

go to parameters then click on the tps tab and set overrun fuel cut tps to 0.0 and set it to 300 ms or whatever works for your set up pay attention to afr so your not to rich on decel

Just set it from like 3500-4500. That way you can just shift below 3500 and not pop everywhere

So i am trying to this anti lag/launch control aggressive and not the rice sound. Car was apparently dyno tuned from previous owner. (I plan to get it retune soon just waiting on some parts) Why cant i see the “anti lag” options on my hondata?

Car was probably tuned using a type R basemap. Check under Calibration with the tune loaded up and see what vehicle it says

It could be a basemap or actually be tuned, only way to tell is by having it retuned on a Civic Si map that actually has the antilag settings. Most likely I can make the car run better than whoever tuned it before especially if you’re adding more parts

All the info you need is in the help section of Hondata if you have Flashpro. You said 05 civic but it really depends whether it’s an EP3 with a K20A3 or an ex/lx with a D17. Either way both of those require actual modification to the ECU that Hondata can do for you if you ship it ouf

You might have it minimizes because I did that by accident and it took me 1 months to fine out and I even deleted it and it was the same thing. So just check if it’s minimize

Since the program doesnt let me have "anti lag", think its possible to retard timing at WOT ignition timing of where 2step is at?

Yes you can install a Bee-R rev limiter. It’s a pain to install because you have to wire it to each of your ignition coils but it sounds insane you can look up videos on KZfaq

Probably have to set it like at least 300 RPM below redline but that sounds like a crazy idea to me

yes, that's fine. Your 2 step limit (and restart) should be below or at your rev limit (and restart), respectively. If it's above, you won't be able to 2 step, as your car will cut fuel based off the rev limit & restart.

Yes it works for Acura TL‘s and yes you do have to be Catless

Well you CAN do it with a cat but it will eventually blow it out and you will fail inspection then. I would recommend just moving to a different state lol Florida is nice, no inspections

@@staticspeedproductions8087 I’m in Australia 🇦🇺 Sydney and here they don’t run the emissions and all that checks like Cali does, but here you’re required to have a cat wether it’s restricted or not doesn’t really matter and getting pull over 🚔 with a straight pipe would definitely get me a ticket but won’t if I have a dummy cat hanging underneath.

have the limit and restart at the same number; raise fuel cut delay in 1st; increase fuel trim. don't retard timing.

I’ve tried editing ignition high as an attempt to get VQ Boi rocket fuel flames but I couldn’t get it to work. All it would do is really fast machine-gun type burbles. And it affected performance putting a slight lag between shifts at high RPM.

Not gonna lie I run 1000 in 5th gear because that’s how you get really big flames by just letting off at 4K RPM and tapping the throttle like 3 seconds later. Any other gears and it is constantly popping lol

Question: for the anti lag can I set the additional fuel lower? I still have a cat so I don’t want a crazy amount of fuel fucking the cat up before I get a down pipe 😅

I drove for maybe 25-30mins and did maybe 2-3 pulls and hit the 2 step twice at my work and when I got home I looked at my hondata app that I had recording certain things and I had a knock count of 5

On s300 anti lag is under launch control tab and and overrun fuel cut is under the tps tab in parameters
