The shimmy's I have unofficially renamed "shaking your maracas" cuz why not!?!? This has been one of the hardest moves to teach my students and these are some tricks I have come across that help my students understand where the movement comes from.
It's a true isolation of the shoulders but it seems people find other areas of the body to shake in the process. I hope you find these tips and tricks to help you master your shoulder shimmy.
