*Looked at a lot of options for getting my **Latest.Bike** . Great find in SAVA. Super light, nice components, really good value as it comes with many options only found in much higher priced bikes.*

Another thing I see a lot of bike riders do (especially here in Montreal) is taking things too seriously. In big cities, you should be expecting people to make mistakes, just like we do on our bikes. If someone cuts you off or steps into your lane just weave around them instead of stopping and yelling at them. Riding a bike should bring you happiness and peace and not anger. Great video!

This may seem obvious but try riding between red lights. When rushing to get to the next red light, you waste energy and get frustrated having to wait. If light will be red or not yet green, try "coasting" and arrive as the traffic is starting to move again. While this may not work so well in a dense place like NYC in smaller places it should. Lane splitting is not allowed here so when approaching a light I will take space in the lane as if I was in a car. My observation is that it is not much slower and I often catch up again to the rabbits before the next red light. One more thing, nothing annoys the guy yelling at you from a passing car than waving and being polite.

The only reason to stop at stop lights in NYC is because if a cop catches you running it you'll get a $200 ticket. Yes bicycles in NYC get $200 tickets, and they are ticketed for red light infractions at 1/3rd the rate of cars.

I nearly clotheslined a guy on a fixed gear in NYC as he blew through a red and proceeded to nearly mow down pedestrians in the crosswalk crossing on green. I don't care if you blow reds, but please yield to pedestrians.

Accommodate pedestrians? So they can breed and create more pedestrians? Its like feeding stray animals, you'll just attract more! Much rather barely miss them and teach them road safety through fear.
