How to fully shut down a PC Windows 11 to reset processor uptime (turn off computer properly)
Your Windows PC may not be fully shutting down, here's how to fix it
1. Enter the control panel.
2. type power in "control panel search bar"
3. Under Power Options, click Change what the power buttons do.
4. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
5. uncheck the box next to Turn on fast start-up then click Save changes.
6. Restart your PC.
In Windows, you can find the system uptime, including processor uptime, in the Task Manager:
Right-click on the taskbar.
Select "Task Manager."
In the Task Manager window, go to the "Performance" tab.
Look for the "Up time" under the "System" section.
This will show you how long your system, including the processor, has been running since the last restart.
