The Polymega system comes with built-in replacement BIOS files for its supported disc systems. For anyone who wants to though, you can place official BIOS files onto the Polymega and use them instead of the built-in variants. There isn't much use in doing this process but there are still some outlier games that won't boot with Polymega's built-in BIOS files. You can also get the original boot screens for Sega CD and PC Engine CD so that's pretty neat!

I've been obsessing over Polymega info for years, so I pretty much know a lot of what you are showing, but even for someone like me having all the info in a single place to reference (all the Polymega videos overall) is a great resource! I can't wait to see how you show thing like performance or graphical patches working.

One other useful bit of info I would add - save states are not cross compatible, so if you save state on a game with Polymega bios, then switch to original bios, you won't be able to use that stave state until you switch back to the Polymega bios. You can always start the game over and use a new original bios save state.

Good point, I work off the assumption that if people are going to sideload the bios they don't plan to take it out

Might want to double check your bios files for PS1 and SS. Mine show the system logo animations at the start on the Polymega.

Nice! They are direct dumps from my systems and work perfectly on everything else so no idea why that would be the case then 😅

Went back and tested a few more I had. Turns out it only works with a PS1 phat BIOS file. I was trying to use PS Classic and Slim ones 😂 also the Saturn BIOS just started working with a recopy. Thanks for turning me onto it!

I have a problem with xenogears it gets stuck in the first fight at the beginning of the game. Maybe with this can resolve the issue. What do you think?

Hi, maybe you are my last hope. Do you know any trick to restore the Polymega system operation? the last update(1.1.30) fucked up my console and the factory reset is not working. After the polymega logo I have the black screen of death. As usual no answer from playmaji support team. Any file to put on a usb drive to boot from? I tried everything but none is seems to work, I'm desperate
