Brilliant! I have always loved this song, but I never dared tackle it before. Now I feel confident that I can sing this song with feeling and with proper technique. Just thought I’d give you a little update. I am having a marvelous time working on this song. I had to drop it a half step for now and that seems to have done the trick for me. I’ve sung it enough times now along with you that today I took off on my own and let my own personal style take over. Given the current status of my voice, which is still in the process of recovering and developing, I am interpreting this song in a soft and tender style. At least this is what speaking to me right now and it feels right I have a lot of technical work to do but I’m finding the soul of the song and it’s resonating with me. I just have to be patient and persistent. This is turning out to be a marvelous project.
