I've had a 40 year career in music. I've had multiple bands, toured and recorded for television and film. I chose to make my marriage and family my priority and looked for ways to fulfill my love of the craft, while making a living, elsewhere. Touring is not conducive to successful relationships, in my observation. No regrets.

Lenny Manikas Ken sounds better. It’s my opinion and I’m not a professional, but I did teach myself how to play five musical instruments and originally learned how to sing to Stevie Nicks. 😂 that was before I got a vocal coach. I ended up getting the lead in a musical, “ Oliver Twist” & I was 16 and only wanted the chorus part but they put me in callbacks and gave me the lead. I had to get a vocal coach to teach me how to sing and cockney. Ughh I figured if I was going to be put in callbacks when I was 16 and auditioning with 20 and 30-year-olds, I was going to give it my best without having a coach. Ken sounds darn good!!

Because Axl Rose sounds like crap. This guy sounds WAY Better!

I start to find this coordination and you have easiness of head voice and some mass of chest voice. I only need to learn to control it through vowel modifications it's a bit thin and a little rigid.

Marco- You can have natural talent, but you may still damage your voice from not knowing how to properly use your good-sounding voice. Or you could be like me, who couldn't sing well at all, but took lessons from many coaches and finally sorted out onstage what was true and good information.

@@kentamplin I agree Ken. U know i barely comment or talk about music cus it-s always a mess. As i already said i respect other people s work. And with this last sentence i think i told everything. To sing is beautiful......in any case. When u are a listener it s easy,.....but when u find urself to the other side of the mic it s another story. If ur work helps or inspire someone in singing ....or made ur own life better....that s very ok. Especially because not everybody born with a big gift Even Axl goes to his vocal coach. Gifted but huma, Many of our favourite singers ever...they have a gift that i and we will never have. I can get better....but i ll never be sebastian bach. I can get go to gym...but there s no way for me to win mr olympia in any case or become handsom man just like a model or brad pitt dunno....i will never have a penis like john holmes. I still wonder how a human being can sing 2 years n half straight on as in use ur illusion tour and still can even talk. Or not???? Basically i dont like the stuff. i prefer how to find ur own way. I repeat it again......i respect other people s work. But since u mentioned about vocal damages.......in this perform i hear too much the vowel E that s a big enemy for voice. There is constriction ,,,,compression and effort. The final overtoned in mechanism M2 it s a head voice with no much subtain becoming too thin reminding a normal falsetto......is very far out from the song itself. Ur voice is beautiful....but this happens when we touch monster singers. Always dangerous. I dont dare to sing freddie mercury not even under the shower so.......i appreciate ur courage.
