In Yesterday’s round, I got some weird stairs in my foursome as I swung my club back and forth as I stood over the ball. But as soon as they heard my solid contact and saw my ball fly to the target I heard the “nice shot”. I’m hitting the ball better than I’ve ever hit it in my life. I started playing golf in 1972, but played less than 10 rounds of golf until I retired in 2017. I’m playing two times a week all year round but haven’t seen much improvement until watching your KZfaq videos and implementing them in my game. I’ve been a 20-25+ handicapper for four years. I’m not focused on outcomes, just playing each shot and trying to have fun instead of beating myself up.

Is such a wonderful sharing by Pro S.C, mind restrictions by automatically freeze body movements ...Always happened. I deeply rethought of my mistake how I injuries badly with pain carried my upper shoulder during 2 years back of practice swings daily. Absolutely agreed, free body movement's may come benefit conjunction of best stability and power for an object target that's how the way work perfectly of result indeed. "Golf is a own game" ....That's true indeed. We unable to do exactly what other did.

Great video Shawn! Two things... 1. How do you not have a million subs? 2. At 16:50 you touch on the leg action and turning. I think this is critical. Maybe a video with Skully would be helpful, but I think the link between leg/lower body action and sternum stability is the key to the golf swing. This has been my focus of late and have seen good progress. Thoughts? Thanks again for all of your great videos!

Tks for this explanation of backswing especially part where lead knee points at or behind ball. I was coached to keep knee pointed straight out to area in front of ball...that restricts hip and about everything else leading to pain.

I must be defective . Just as Rory that lead arm is bent thru impact. ;) I have been working very hard and focused so much on my lower body pivot that I forgot that I have two arms and hands. When you mentioned throwing the club down the fairway with the lower body it was like you have been reading my mind. I usually carry three golf gloves in my bag and after hitting balls all are soaked. Hey yinz must be spying on me and reading my mind. Don't stop I'm loving the results. Myrtle beach here I come. :) :) Thank yinz for the great videos.

Wow Shawn, after just one practice range session using the initial heave analogy on the takeaway, my swing just feels so natural and free in starting my swing. I've also experimented on using the initial heave to start my takeaway at a more slightly shallow angle - I've found that to be much more natural to do than to be high and trying to shallow on the down swing, is there anything wrong in doing so? I'm just now starting to get use to the stronger grip as I'm finding the strong grip does allow for a much more natural throw-the-club motion. I'm loving this change in my swing motion so much - it's just so natural in feeling and flow!!

Fantastic! And yes, takeaway wide and low to the ground without strain or manipulation; just like you are describing is much more efficient with your anatomy. QUESTION: After just watching your videos about having stable footwork which appears as almost keeping the frwd foot "planted" in the swing, this here video seems to void that idea. How can this be rectified please? BTW Being a few years new to golf I began having better success only after applying your "Daisy Stem" into my swing action so THANK YOU ALL at Wisdom for helping me get through the 4 year grind of frustrating trial and error.
@golflessons

Hey P Lo! Either or is good, depends on the person and how mobile they are and how they better activate their kinetic chain in the swing. Some need to allow the lead heel off the ground for better balance and some get better activation keeping the lead heel on the ground like Savy. Both are good!

I started using perpetual motion (3 times forward and backwards) as my pre shot drill and results were excellent! However, when the club catches the turf - particularly on a wet day - I need to stop, clean the club and it creates almost a complete reset of the flow. Do you think using perpetual motion but not actually making contact with the ground would be a good or bad pre-shot routine? Any further thoughts on using this as a pre-shot?

Shawn you have an open stance...is that for all clubs? Also does that help with the rotation?

You want that stance to match the shot with the club you have; start with “predict perfect contact and direction shawn clement” which will get your set up dialled in.

Shawn i have a question. I have been following your channel for long now and seen much improvement, im getting to a stage where i can shape beautiful shots off the T with my 3 and 5w, however i cant seem to replicate it when i pick up my driver, its just inconsistant and keeps a slight fade, if i draw i over draw. Why cant i replicate what i do with my woods. Your lessons have a way of making it simple and natural, a lot of lessons out there over complicate it and seems to make my game worse. Keep up the awesome lessons.
@golflessons
@golflessons 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah man! Simple, go to my video on “how to hit the driver for accuracy shawn clement” and you will find your way instantly as it is the same set up as the fairway woods! Hi Shawn, I have been struggling with hitting behind the ball, but I stay centered, keep my spine angle and release through the ball, however my swing path is severely in to out. Can this be the reason for bottoming out too early? And would a more open stance neutralize the swing path and stop the heavy shots? Thanks

Here is the focus sequence you need to be consistent with: 1-flight plan was established on all shots? 2-IP was chosen (intermediate point) 3-predictions were made and you did not take for granted (see how to put the ball in the way of your swing shawn clement and on our premium channel it’s “predict contact” and “the goldie locks series” 4-pre-motor cortex was engaged properly by re-calling the feel you were going to use to deliver with EASE and velocity in your throw (this advanced stuff is way too out there for what everyone is searching on youtube and you need to go to our premium channel at www.wisdomingolfpremium.com and see “pre-motor cortex series”) 5-you can confirm you stayed with it because you felt the swing stretch you in the direction you wanted to start the ball (premium channel is “target confirmation series” and your strain level in the shot was 3 out of 10
