I smoked two Salmon fillets on my offset smoker. I used half apple wood and half hickory. One fillet is sweet and smokey rub and the other is smokehouse maple rub.

What a blessing to find this video! I have pretty much the exact same setup and I’m trying to impress my parents with some smoked salmon on the offset without it being too hot. Total diamond in the rough, dude. Thanks!

@@goodfoodandbbq21 It turned out beautifully! Let it brine in a brown sugar, red onion, garlic, soy sauce, water mix for about 12 hours. Formed a pellicle for roughly 3.5 hours. After that, I used applewood chunks, kept my fire super small to cook it low and slow. From 100° internal onward I basted every 15-30 mins with the juice of 1 whole lemon and orange, brown sugar, soy sauce, and a splash of lime juice. Took it out at 145° (to be safe since it was my first time) and it was absolute perfection. Everyone said it was the best salmon they’ve ever had.👌🏻

Why this video don't have a million views yet ???? ...Man I love this video didn't say alot but said a whole lot easy ingredients that you can find not complicated at all must respect all the way from South Central Los Angeles trying your recipe this week for sure keep going !!
