Another nice one, Miles! Thanks, lots of great material to transcribe and work on. Minor citicism, the volume of the backing track is a bit low during your examples.

Hey thank you kindly! I realized that after the recording. Unfortunately, I couldn’t raise the gain without having my trumpet blow out the mic in my macbook. This is definitely something I will adjust in my next video.

Great video man. Gave me a clear understanding on where to use the bebop dominant scale on in a 2-5-1. Only one critique. Maybe turn up the volume on the backing track because I basically can’t hear it. Please keep up the videos! 🎺🔥

Hey Dude, I think it is more instructive to write out the arpeggios, pivoting, followed by chord or scale as you suggested in the 251 improvisation exercises in both minor 7, dominant 7, major 7 and also in half diminished 7 (B), dominant 13 (G) and minor 6th (A). That will result in easier takeaway. Thank you..

I am playing jazz since last year, but i played classical for 5 years. I don't really know what to practice and study, shall I go over all standards? shall I just practice scales? and what scales shall I practice? there is so much to lern and I really don't know where to start
