This physics video tutorial explains how to solve any circuit problem with capacitors in series and parallel combinations. This video explains how to calculate the electric charge and voltage on every capacitor in a series and parallel circuit. In a series circuit, the capacitors have the same charge and the voltages are additive following kirchoff's voltage law. In a parallel circuit, all of the capacitors have the same voltage but their charges are additive. This tutorial contains plenty of examples and practice problems.

Oh and another thing! You don’t write in messy cursive which makes things hard to understand! You even use *simple* fonts (as to not intimidate amateurs) and make the font big and clear and it’s just wonderful! :)

alot of teachers do not teach. it is just a job they go to. most teachers you can tell specially nowadays that they just going through the material so they can say they are ahead of schedule or what not.

True but think about it. Teachers handle 30-40 students in one lesson, each student may put their hands up and ask questions. Making a Video is straight forward, it gives the person time to think and for us we can just rewind back and just study threw it. Try and watch the video in one go you’ll be confused as you’ll be in class. But yeah I do indeed agree this man does a lot for us in order for us to understand in a basic way and not to complex 🙌🏽

@@klaus6178 Teachers go to school and actively get the degrees and everything so they can teach. They have to qualify to be a teacher.... so no they are not forced to. They quite literally chose to spend money on it so I would hope they would have some passion. But they fail quite a few students.

I must say that you're making great videos! However, I'd like to see the reasoning upon the formula q_tot(c_1/(c_1+c_2))=q_1, because at the university I study at, there has to be derivations for every formula used. I can only say that you're better than the 6 Universty professors I've had so far!!!!

it is the same concept used for resistors in series with voltage dividers if i recall correctly. (since capacitor in parallel acts like a resistor in series. the formula derivations are a combination of ohm's law equations.) I'm not 100% sure, as it's been a while since i've dealt with them.
