Spot on, mate. Odegaard is not a KDB tipe of player, and he's not a killer passer. What the heck is he doing next to Saka? And Why Mikel doesn't seem this? Saka is a playmaker and he needs space to do his thing

Tbh we just lack quality in crucial places no lie, not just strikers but we need a wingers and a midfielder Ø been doing too much he can’t specialize on his creativity

We need a solid striker in the centre so when teams push us to the wings, we actually have a man in the middle to target. I’ve never seen in our history as a club, a period where we don’t have that solid main striker. Replacement for partey, we need another option and also for squad depth. This player has to be able to drive the ball forward while rice covers We need a winger who can play on either wing, saka has been playing too much he needs help. Lastly, we need a WB that can provide wing support

Next season I hope we bring in FDJ (Partey plus cash to Barcelona). Rice as CDM, De Jong as the shuttler & Odegaard as the Creator, would link our midfield together & give us complete balance both ways. FDJ would buy time for Smirh Rowe & Viera to develop on loan taking pressure off of them to play now.

The problem is in this buildup if Martin O drops deep, by the time we beat the pressure, he's not in those positions to create... Basically this means rice hasn't yet adapted to this buildup role as a lone 6.

I think another big issue is arteta simply can't allow even 1 goal for better attacking fluidity. We're too defensive when we know pur attack aren't gonna finish off on 3-5 chances

@user-ne9jy9lm8p scoring more goals doesn't equal best attacking team. We've objectively been the best DEFENSIVE team in the prem look at the underlying stats and obvious ones like goals conceded and clean sheets

And our squad depth quality is like championship level 😂 a club like arsenal level should have a depth like real and city. We are also need to diversify our play style we keep on playing the same type of football

Gonna need another 150+ mil to get our depth up to scratch. We need a world class striker like Osimhen if we're going to seriously contend with City and Real and actually power through to the end of a season, the cup games and the CL. Hopefully selling players will help with that, and the fact that Arsenal have been saving up since last summer.

I've paying attention to what he tweets and when it comes to Odegaard, I feel like he is on the money. Should be an 8 and I personally don't think Odegaard is amazing in transition, at the same time our team lacks pace. We either need a true number 8 who can alleviate the pressing that Odegaard shouldn't have to do or drop him into that position. Personally, I think Smith Rowe could do a shift for a couple of the remaining games in the position as 10, seems like Fabio Vieira is completely out of favour now.

@@AJDaEnvoy it’s a shame vieira and esr haven’t been given a chance but they have both lacked fitness, so arteta doesn’t trust them. In regards to Odegaard, it’s true that he lacks dynamism in transitions, but I personally also think most of our attackers lack dynamism in transition. Not quite sure how arteta solve this.
