the formula can also be: 1) s1 - s2 = d/t if they started in the same direction; *note that in this formula s1>s2 2) s1 + s2 = d/t if they started in the opposite direction s1 - speed 1 s2 - speed 2 d- distance t - time

so basically, pag opposite , pag add mo lang tapos pag same direction minus. #shortcut. no need na equation

Missing time= Opposite direction add and then divide. Same direction subtract and divide.

mam lyqa sa number 2 question pwede ba ito t=? is t=d/s pero dalawa ang given na speed so t=d/s1+s2 so t=348/43 kph+73 kph ay magiging t=348/116 and t=3 hours. Thanks

Hi Mam. you have discussed TOM and TIM going OPPOSITE and SAME DIRECTION. how about if they are travelling towards each other? tama bang Distance = S1T1 + S2T2 ?? salamat!

dahon pi yup! that's right 🖒 actually, same lang ang formula na gagamitin kapag two vehicles are travelling towards or away from each other; total distance= distance 1+distance 2 😊

May isheshare lang din po ako coach na pwede din po dyaan For opposite direction Ex. #1 Average = Total distance / total speed 348 is the total distance 116 is the total speed (43+73) 348Km / 116Kph = 3 hours Ex. #2 Average = total distance / total speed 336 km is the total distance 84 kph is the total speed (26+58) 336 km / 84 kph = 4 hours For same direction Ex. 1 Average = total distance / total speed 36 km is the total distance 12 is the total speed (48-36) 36km / 12kph = 3 hours

Sa isang oras po 15 km po ang kayang bagtasin. Bale ang tanong kapag ba 37.5 km ilang oras babagtasin. At ang sagot ay 2.5. Double check mo by: 15*2.5 = 37.5
