i already did all options in this video & somehow my phone still couldn't read it. my last resort is to factory reset my phone as the otg drive itself was never the problem bc my laptop can read the drive. its a hassle if i need to pull up my laptop evrytime i need to transfer some files to my potato phone. :/

Thank you so much for this video. I just bought myself a USB C drive to transfer my photos from my phone to it. I have a Google Pixel 7 pro. Only difference is mine said USB debugging. Instead of the default USB configuration. And I had to click the build number five times to get the option for developer.

Thanks although it didn't work for me, BUT i will tell you what worked! simply connect your Phone to the Drive through OTG, then just WAIT! it might take a minute or two but it will eventually recognize the device and show up! i know it seems simple but trust me i had the same issue on all my android devices. Recently i am facing this issue, to resolve this issue even I did Factory Data Reset but nothing worked. Not any external OTG pen drives are working. But one thing I wanna tell you I tried to connect with Windows PC and it is working fine but not with MAC. For MAC it is not detecting. Please help me to fix out this.

I have the same Google Pixel 6 pro And I'm trying to connect an OGT cable to an audio device Via USB and my charger cable to the phone. However, the USB works fine but the charger port is not charging at the same time. I previously had a Pixel 2 and it worked fine and now all the sudden with the pixel 6. You can't do both at the same time which is weird. However, if you know of any special OTG cables that will work, let me know. Or if there's something that I need to change in the settings that will help support both the USB and charging your phone at the same time while connected to an audio device. I have the issue of not seeing two devices at the same time on pixel 7a. With exactly the same cabels and devices my friend can see them both (ssd and sd card) on his samsung s23. It sucks, cause I cant do the direct back up of the sd card to ssd like he can. It's 2023 why cant they just get these to work escpecially on googles own phones so weird.
