What a coincidence! Three hours ago, I walked out of a local film festival here because all of the short films were ruined by bad sound design. Really, newcomers like myself must buy better sound equipment instead of 6k 120 fps cameras. Thanks for this video, Ash. 🙌

Oh no! That is the worst! Yes good sound is in some ways more important than good visuals. There's some great lav mics and boom mics out there. The Tascam DR-10L is great. I did a review on it here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m72mZK-K19fJgZs.html Also the Rode Gos are pretty great too.

*Can you help me with the category name and applicable shots of the sound effect? when i need to add a sound to my scene, i don't know exactly what genre it is so google it, thank you very much have a nice day ladies*

Hi there! Happy to help but I'm not 100% sure what you're asking. Usually when you're looking for a sound effect you don't need to search by your film's genre but rather the sound effect it's self. I'd recommend downloading a sound effect library. You can purchase one or you can also use the free one here on KZfaq in KZfaq Studio. You can also download specific sound effects at places like Pond5.com or EnvatoElements.com. There you can search for the specific sound effect you need. Artlist.io also has a library you can search and an AI tool that lets you describe what you need to it. Hope that helps!
