Hands down the best call of the wild collab possible. I very much appreciate everything you have both done to help myself and others with every aspect of the game. I currently have 12 GOs, 4 of which are Red Deer. The best Red Deerr trophy I have right now is the best scoring of the GOs, he's a 270. But I am still grinding for super rare so fingers crossed. I have had a super troll but that just makes more determined. Fact is I just love to grind.

I know this is an older video but thank you for this one. My red deer grind was stalling out because of a couple broken zones . After watching this video I got my zones fixed. I shot 11 Legendary red deer yesterday on my runs and hopefully the great one spawns soon. Love your channel, thank you.

First thanks for making all of the content that you make it's been very helpful for new players . I see here that a lot of people are asking for the red deer grind, so I'll say what was my experience on teawaroa. I'm relatively a new player started playing few months ago so when i bought dlc i was only level 29 and had no money for the tents so it took me a little longer for proper set up but when i found all the zones, it's between 40/42 zones.I started shooting everything above level 4, i have manage to count all the bucks on the map it's around 135 and after 1500 kills the map had over 95 level 4's. I was stacking diamonds and periodically shooting few every round. The GO spawned the day before the new update came out after some 1700 kills🎉 at that point i had over 20 diamonds on the map so i decided to shoot them all in one then go for the fabled😂..it was awesome the adrenaline rush was through the roof 😂😂.at the end of the grind i had 35 diamonds 3 rares 16 trolls..after that i didn't came back on the map until today and i just wanted to test the new guns on the red deer, on my second run there he was 10 fabled😮..i was in shock, plus few diamonds and level 7 piebald.. so this method is working perfectly... sorry for the long text but i hope it's gonna help someone. thanks to both of you for my trophy's

Got 3 Great Ones from Cuatro. 1 from Parqe and im working on #5 on Te Aweora. 4800 kills with 58 Diamonds. The best one was Parque because it was few hours before population reset and it was secondary grind to take pressure off main grind 💪

I'm finding soft point bullets with the .338 work better to drop red deer than polymer. Single lung drops them in seconds.

Thank you for the video lady, My current method for is Leaving 3-4 in exterior zones, Grind 5-7s in main zones and Stacking 8-9s Is it worth it to grind 5-8s instead of leaving the 8s with the 9s?

So I just started this Grind. Feel like I found the majority of the zones on Hirsch. 70+ zones. But I dont hunt just a few. I actually hunt every zone. Hopefully thats okay lol. I have spawned 2 Level 9s but I did shoot 1. Hoping that was a good sign. Cant wait to play later haaha

I've watched this video three times now to get everything fully understood but the only thing that isn't explained is exactly how to shoot down an exterior zone, I still rotate most zones in NZ but some of the lakes I really hate and would love to never go there again. I often get diamonds spawn in the places I hate lol. Do I need to shoot certain levels at exteriors, shoot more than two in a single drink time, what's the secret? Thanks for the videos you put out, I've got one great one and a lot of diamonds so far by following you.

Great videos. Started my red deer grind 7 days ago. 3rd day in got my first level 9 legendary diamond. Next day exploring new lakes, got a random level 5 diamond Fallow Deer. 6th day in, yesterday got another level 9 legendary diamond. Then today another. However I got to quit being so excited and trigger happy and leave those level 9 diamonds to stack LOL. But is this a good sign that I'm doing it right since I'm getting the level 9 legendary diamonds in so close together!?!?

The best red deer trophy I have is a super rare 264 piebald and I have a G1 too. That was when I was doing hm but the next red deer grind I will do without hm.

Hello Lady and thank you for another great video. I am setting up a Red Deer grind in Cuatro and have a question about solo's. Could I swap high lvl stags into my shooting zones instead of grinding them on a different rotation?

The video was helpful I am just slightly confused does the male to female ratio effect this? for example in one of your "shooting zones" do you need to kill all the doe's as well or can you leave them and just go right for the stags?

Do u start with the main hunting zones first or the other lake that u want small ones at?

Since leaving this comment, I’ve found your entire PLAY LIST of red deer grinding that answers more questions that i could even come up with. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thank both of you so much for all your hard work!! 👏🏻 My hubby bought CoTW when it first came out. I promptly stole it, hogged the console and he started playing Gran Turismo. I haven’t played since 2020 but apparently I’d gotten 241hrs playtime before I moved to Red Dead. I’m a horse person. It was only a matter of time… 😬 ANYhoo! Here we are, 2023, hubby now plays on PS5 and I have the 4. Kid’s off to college in fall so hubby said he and I should start playing CoTW together. Our play styles couldn’t be more polar opposite so yippee! 🫠 If he decides he HAS to continue to run around like a sugared up toddler, I’m taking him to Parque or Savannah and fast traveling away. You want a buffalo? How about a cape or water one? Here ya go! No need for a separate caller, YOU ARE the caller. Have a good time… Heh heh HERE’S MY ACTUAL QUESTION 😁🤓; I have QC map and want to grind for GO Red deer. Is it worth doing on QC or should I go ahead and buy the TA map? He got the TA map in the master Hunter bundle, but he isn’t going to be a herd manager. Last night I poked around by myself and wouldn’t you know it, I found a solo 8! I was pumped! THEN I found a solo 9! Having no clue about herd management, I worked for 2 hours to figure out where to put stands and tents so I could shoot the 9. After CRAWLING AROUND FORRRREEVVVVVER without remotely getting close to them again, much less close enough to shoot them cuz I’m rusty and will 100% screw them up, it hit me. I suddenly remembered why I always hated Hirsch and bought all the other maps… 😏 The hubby is about to get a crash course in wolves, grizzlies, mountain lions, FREAKING DEADLY, MEAN A- GOATS!! I’m done with Hirsch. It can keep its stupid Bison AND it’s stupid Red Deer. I’m done wasting my time. BOOOOO!! 😝

Sorry for the long comment, but let me get this straight. 1 - We found all the drinks zones. 2 - We chose our main areas with 10 tents. 3 - External zones with 6 tents that will be removed after the control of these zones with smaller animals. 4- In the main zones we shoot the animals in the low levels and stack them in the high levels. i‘m at the point where i managed to seperate exterior and shooting lakes, but somehow i always have to go back to the exteriors because big levels keep spawning every now and then. heards that usually are made of 3 males then get an additional one that seems to spawn as he wants to. am i doing something wrong or is that somewhat normal?

Can you move animals? For example you want to get a male to spawn instead of a female in the zone? Like switching them over in the way.....Really love your videos by the way keep up the amazing jo LadyLegend! Helped me out a lot on my PS5 account and now I started fresh on PC

Hey lady i just started playing about 2 months ago i currently have 36 red deer drink zones. I wouldve had 38-40 but must have deleted them by shooting single zones too many times without realizing. How can i get them back or is it ok to continue with the grind?

The fog is horrendous in NZ but it pays off doing red deer there ❤

For all the effort I put in without herd management that time, it is definitely worth it to end up having one super rare and one GO.

So how do you know when a exterior zone is shot down? I think my zone is shot down, then I’ll go back and check a few rotations later and a level 6-8 will show up.

So just to be clear, in my shooting zones with big trophies, do I need to shoot out the smaller trophies (lvl 5 and under) and just keep my big boys there?

Let me tell you all my predicament. Watched this video couple of times. Pretty sure I have all my zones on Te Awaroa, I say pretty sure for a reason. I have a spot that has had only two Reds on it, a lvl 5 and a lvl 6. Decided to leave them alone something in the video about having two bucks on a spot. In fact, those two has been the only two on that spot for about a week. Today, 4/2/23 bunch of fog on my map so decided to take a look at those two. For no reason I know of there is a whole herd there now, and even more weird a new drink zone showed up right under my Tripod stand. That new spot was never there before, I have not erased any spot on my map. I never shoot more than 1 or 2 from any heard, and always from a stand. Even more fun, I have like 5-6 mythical on my map, about 3-5 lvl 7, was about to start shooting them when the new herd and zone showed up. Stopped and came here to comment. Starting to think there is more randomness to all this than I thought. I can say my Mythical Reds are always in that same spot. Something happened not sure what.

I have been grinding for a great one Red Deer and have been staking my level 9 legendarys. I have multiple in single drinking zones, am i supposed to be shooting the ones i know wont make dimond? So far i have 7 on my map and 4 of them are below dimond potential.
