When I was in university, I got so many international friends and we always speak English.. now since I left university people around me don't use English anymore so I'm afraid I'll lose this ability to speak like before. Thanks for your video I've learned so many things especially the accent. The only problem is I need someone who fluent in English to speak with me like in the university before, so I'll have more confident when speaking. I have family from Washington D C and New Zealand. Last we met in 2014. All of them use English and I hope I can meet them again one day and able to speak American accent :-)

No matter what your level of English, confidence is vital. ... 2)Memorize examples with vocabulary. Don't just memorize lists of words. ... 3)Listen to learn. ... 4)Exercise your mouth muscles. ... 5)Copy a native speaker. From what I’ve seen of Dutch, it’s very similar to English. Both languages have significant German and French influences, so I imagine it would be fairly easy (comparatively) to learn English for a Dutch speaker, and vice versa. Each state has certain differences that can be difficult to pick up unless you live in Australia, as well as the rural and urban differences. Hi, Vanessa. I'm from Indonesia. To be honest, I like the way you explain something. It's clear and easy to understand. It's really useful for everyone learning English, coz we aren't taught such lessons at school or college. In other words, we need English which is used by native speakers in real life. Thank you for your beneficial lessons.

It seems me a very interesting video, not simply as Vanesa explains very well or I how well I understand her explanation. For me, the best part of this lesson it isn´t how to speak faster, although she explains very interesting tips, the most useful for me is understanding why many times it is so difficult for non-natives to understand native people when they speak in English.
