When I was a kid, I lived about an hour and 30 minutes from Gloucester in Hull Massachusetts on the Cape

This is how the north shore beaches are here on Long Island. The closest beach to me is 10 minutes. Very rocky but usually clear water on the sound. Until the end of July when the seaweed and jelly fish start coming in it’s clear. You just have to wear water shoes or flip flops. We also have ocean beaches at fire island and in the Hamptons which is white sand mostly and not rocky. But the rip tides are nothing to mess with.

We lived in Beverly and used to go to Essex, close to Glouster. Our place was the Village restaurant but I heard it isn't there anymore. Next door is Woodmans and it is very popular and good prices. A good day trip is to Clark's Bear Farm. Also where the carnival was they have a greasy pole thing where people try to make it to the end before falling off into the water for a case of beer. Don't try it Erin!

Great video! Have you checked out Perkin’s Cove and Ogunquit in southern Maine? There’s a path along the shoreline between the villages called the Marginal Way.

Hi. Love your video.❤. I would suggest Provincetown and Cahoon Hallow Beach. Beautiful. Also Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are great too. Clam Box Restaurant in Ipswich is great as well! Portsmouth in NH is also wonderful and Lake Winnepasawke
