---Summary---
I have split two streakers in the past, in this video I go through the process of cutting splitting multiple streakers into a pinwheel rainbow style. This by far worked the best with Sakura, I found both the Krink and the hobo scrawlers to be too brittle/ dry. The end results with the multi-color tags worked awesome. I wanted to also go after a gradient tag, and while I got close I will have tor revisit the best way to split a streaker for that. Leave your feedback if you have suggestions on how to better split a solid marker. Maybe next time I will give the fishing line method a try.

get a piece of wood. Drill a hole in it. mount wire the hole. stick marker through the whole with the wire and it slices it like clay. easier than this, and a wholeeeeee lot more precise.

If the razor is breaking the streak when you’re splitting them. Sewing string also works

You definitely need smaller color sections. You need the full streak for one, then you cut the whole thing in half. Once you got both halves, you then cut those pieces in half which will give you quarters. Just keep repeating as many times as you need to for what ever amount of colors you want. Markals just aren't made for the split streak idea . It's way to messy in the sense of chunks and dusty paint particles lol. ( just my opinion )

When you buy one from Handmixed you only have one but if you mix 4 marker you have 4 mixed markers

IISIVEII, they're pretty good quality (atleast at splitting), but the one i ordered didn't work a long time, like a non-splitted or "homemade splitted" streaker :/

+Macedonian Warrior Nah you're all good bro, haha the writers fever everyone has it. And nah streakers are paint so they're permanent, but crayons could work maybe melt them down in a tin can and add some oil based paint. Put it in an empty glue stick container and pour the melted crayon mixed with paint inside. Let it dry and you should have something similar to a streaker. But yeah honestly if you can't get streakers and are thinking about using crayons just use oil pastels. They work like streakers but aren't permanent unless they've been on a porous surface for a long period of time.
