With it still being winter Moncler jackets are still being sold regularly & with that comes the risk of being sold a fake Moncler jacket as a stand in for the real deal. Hopefully this guide will help you avoid any such issues!
Remember that my videos are based off of my own experiences - There are many different versions of authentic products so this video should be used only to give you a general idea of the features to look out for.

The alignment of the buttons as mentioned around 5:00 is not necessarily an indication of a fake. I have a few Moncler jackets and the buttons are not all perfectly turned the same way.

The good fakes are often made by the same people who make the real thing. That's why it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

That’s not true. The real ones are made exclusively in the EU at the contracted factory in Romania, pthat is the only place they are made. They are not for instance made in China where the majority of fakes come from. Even so they are categorically not made at the same factory. That’s the excuse people often make to justify buying a fake. It’s like when people say they have a Louis Vuitton made by genuine Louis Vuitton canvas. It doesn’t happen

They are not, however since Luxury conglomerates reduced cost by shipping around 70% of the labour is very likely that the same artisans who made the original jackets, sell them on another market to earn personal profit, thast why replicas have become so convincing and there are so minor differences on the product, obviously that applies to 1:1 products, basic counterfeit do not apply

The real Moncler jacket has a NFC chip hidden into the shoulder logo. If you scan that with your smartphone, you’ll tell straight away if the jacket is authentic.

Maybe 20 years ago people would ACTUALLY try and sell moody gear as authentic but nowadays if you are offered "moncler" @ £40 quid you are going to have a fair idea it's moody! Point is few people care if the gear is right or not, if it looks right and doesn't cost £800 No one cares!

Moncler down jackets are not water resistant, so I prefer Canada goose. If someone chooses Moncler because of lightweight, I'd recommend Uniqlo, 1/10 price, same weight. For the design? I'm not sure whether the down jackets have overlap with FASHION.
