What are the best crystals for teenagers?

Oh... so those Etsy Crystals I ordered must be lab made. Not that important, they are a decoration to place on my wood shelf near various glass paperweights and epoxy mini art lamps. Not really trying to make a giant mineral collection but it's good to know what they really are. I assume the uglier looking one I received must be real.
