To become a certified HR professional you need the SHRM-CP certification for an entry level candidate. Very few jobs require the SHRM certification most want at least a high school diploma and 5+ years of experience in payroll, HRIS, and other HR components . For education they might not even ask for a master’s degree only a bachelor’s or again a HS diploma but with 5+ years of clerical experience .
