I'm glad I found this video. It is a good step by step tutorial that gives me insight into what it is first hand. I have been... considering, getting a Patreon page. I am a small, still kinda starting out gaming channel, and I was creating content regularly until life forced me to put it on hold. Now, my equipment is falling apart and I need upgrades. I'm already saving money to get me a new console, but I know I need more to stay aloof. So thank you for this! I will be considering it for the future for sure!

It's so hard to find good information on Patreaon - and it's 2017! I just started a Patreon yesterday, and this video really makes a lot of sense and does a really good job explaining what Patreon is, and especially how to better communicate with your patrons. I really like Patreon's reward tiers: I really look forward to giving back to my patrons in a consistent and focused way!

This is a concise, no nonsense tutorial. Highly recommended! I think people should be realistic and grow their channel before asking for money. Unless you have a few thousand subscribers and can get a lot of video views, I don't think you will earn much at all. Check around some of the smaller creators and see how they are doing before making the effort.

Hi there, thanks for the help you told me some interesting stuff that I didn't already know but there is still one thing I have no idea how to do, how to you make videos exclusive to your Patrons so that only people who are your Patron can see those videos do you like make the video private or something then do the same thing you'd normally do or something please help me out here it's been bothering me for a very long time and no one seems to be giving the information I need in this regard.

I finally found a video that explains the end-to-end process of setting up a Patreon campaign. I have an account but haven't really known what to do with it - at least not at a level that I could do something with. I am still mulling over what to do about the videos - I am not particularly photogenic and writing a script about my work is a challenge but I feel that I can actually do it now. What's the worst that could happen? No one responds and I have to figure out how to change that.

I've noticed there is a writing category in the list of options. That seems like a good sign. I've been thinking about starting a Patreon for a while now, but I'm unsure how it would work in my case. What I want to do post my stories a chapter at a time. However I'm unsure of how that would work as I have yet to find a Patreon who does the same and my attempts at searching for the answer have so far been unsuccessful. At this time I'm not sure if what I want to do is possible.

Howling should a video be? 1, 2 or 5 minutes? And what is best as people’s spans are around 2-3 minutes! I’ve seen many different amount what’s the best? I got issue as I’m only making patreon for two reason 1. Better equipment than just iPad. 2. I’m ill and I want my kids to be taken care of also when I’m gone, but my kids will take over. Is it okay or is it only while I’m alive? I can’t use ADsense as they ban me all the time! But this about the video I’d like to know how long. You say 10 ppl, what’s the issue with unlimited? +Multitudes With Meg. No it is free to launch a Patreon account. They take a small percentage of what you earn from pledges. You can have the money paid into a Paypal account too. I have a link to mine on my most recent videos and you can take a look without having to pledge any money. I also have a link in my video descriptions that could earn you an extra $50 up to $500 for gaining from 30 patrons up to 250 patrons in the first month of launching. Hope that this helps you out. Anyone over the age of 13 can launch a Patreon account.

Hi what if you wanted to have two types of things you do, so mainly if you wanted to make videos and draw comics? would i have to make two patreons, plus would i have to delete the videos with copyrighted content like music from my channel before signing up? also I've just been reading that you may need a pay pal as well or does the site pay it directly to your bank account? I am setting up a page and have a question. When I upload a video, Patreon asks "Who can view this" Public, Patrons only, $1 plus, $5 plus, $10 plus, etc. If I select, $1 plus, does Patreon charge ONLY the $1 patrons? I don't want my upper level patrons paying for low level videos, only the video content that matches their level. Thanks for any help.

They Patreon Guru: Several times I have written out my goals and rewards but they don't stay there. They disappear! Yes, I click on SAVE. I stopped clicking on EXIT EDITOR because I lost the work I had just put into Goals and Rewards. Can you help?
