I now want to share my experience about how to start a property portfolio and how to get into property investing for beginners so you can learn about the good highs and bad lows.

Great down to earth content. Highlighting it's not a get rich quick and also you do need some money to start (compliant etc) but then use OPM going forward. Put together nicely there Jamie 👌

So refreshing coming from other’s channel bombarding with no money down deals. Thanks for cutting through the mist and get to the reality. I have not considered buying courses from others but because of your honesty I will buy any course that you throw at me. I will wait until my deposit for the first house is saved up and will ask you to kindly mentor me. Can’t wait.

For all current and future landlords PLEASE note that EPC ratings for all rentals from 2025 are very likely to require a minimum of EPC 'C'. That means you are going to have to spend a lot of money getting your house to comply. Most rentals up north will have an EPC grade 'E'. This requirement is actually putting me off buying any properties without an EPC of 'C'. Just watch out folks, its going to become very difficult to rent property that is not extremely well insulated and without renewable heat sources

It depends on what money you have of course, but if you want to be active in property, then deal packaging first I would say

@@JamieYork Hi mate. Thanks for replying. I am in the process of doing my first BRR. And am managing to find other good deals that I want to package on and sell. How ever I’m not sure where to start in terms of the steps I need to do to become compliant, secureing the deal with the vendor while you try to sell it and how the process works up to completion. Any information regarding any of that would be of great help :) Thanks bud :)

Hi Jamie! I wonder if it would be possible for you to create something about investing in a property but not as a full-time business but as an extra income strategy. Something for 'ordinary people who do not want to become full-time property investor. For example, I am about to start working as a junior doctor. I want to do medicine as a career. However, in a long term perspective, I am looking for other options of creating income, so I can work as a doctor part-time, just for pure satisfaction, not because I 'MUST' work for money. This way I hope to avoid burnout. Thanks a lot! I find your channel extremely inspiring and motivating! :)

Is the rental property on a repayment or interest only mortgage? Can you refinance and pull some money out? Start looking at ways for you to create more money. Maybe look at deal packaging?
