Finally a video that gets down to the nitty gritty. You covered almost everything in a single video! I'm a photographer and I'm trying to sell my prints on canvas etc through dropshipping. They say the canvas or fine art papers are very expensive and charge upwards of $100 for a 24x18. How is it costing you so less? Are you using top quality archival papers/canvas and inks?

@@koachkrafts Ok nice. Also do you think if I print here in India and ship it to US/Europe that would be cheaper or using a dropshipper who does the printing, packaging, shipping would be cheaper? They charge like $100-150 for a 18x24. Because if I ship abroad, I think the shipping costs could be very high due to the heavy weight of Framed fine arts prints or gallery wraps.

In fact Im on a lookout for a printer and I have the following question: Since I can't get ahold of the Pro 2000 in my country, I was thinking of going for the Pro 1000, as it is easier to find and the price appears to be within my budget. Do you think that I will be able to get the job done using the Pro 1000? I found out that it will be able to handle the 11x8, 24x17, 30x20 sizes, that you mentioned in the video, but I was wondering if there're other factors that I need to consider, as I am not really experienced in that field. Bubble wrap and a box will be good enough to protect your canvas during shipping

That's great to hear, Glad it helped !! I will be making more videos in the future. For the frames you will have to find someone locally... if no one is selling frames then I would pitch the idea to a carpenter or anyone else with wood cutting experience. Its easy for them and a good side income.

@koachkrafts - Thanks for responding. I am retired, but I am looking for income. I have some capital to buy large format printers, and I can learn software really fast. I could also learn from your video (thank you for sharing!). My big fear is marketing. I don't know how to find customers (I am in north/bay area/central California), the users demographics, pricing, etc, before I create a business plan that makes sense. Is niche printing profitable? What is the s8zeof thee niche? I found established competitors like FedEx, Staple, and others, but I am thinking about the plan to get customers. Is there a book or website that can help? Are printers like the Canon pro-2100/2000, HP designjet Z9 a minimum for printing on canvas for commercial purposes? I've heard that cheaper printers like the HP designjet t520, 500, 800 etc. are not good for printing on canvas. Would printers like the Canon IPF8300/8400 or the HP z3200 also be enough as an cheaper alternative? As these were recommended for printing on canvas a long time ago but are now very old and might lack quality on the prints. Thanks,

I would say these printers are the minimum for starting a business. These printers are easy to use, they print great, there low maintenance and the process is very easy. You want something that is reliable and doesn't take much effort to get a print one.

Few calculations were MISSING. Like 🔔 🎯Printer Ink 🎯Printer Maintenance & Electricity 🎯Shipment (courier charges) 🎯 Packaging materials. Etc However, it can be a good source of income. Could you make another video on how do you pack and ship and low long is the Printer life, what brand of ink you use and little info on how to maintain the printer in its optimal condition. I guess I have given too many option for a whole series of videos, only because I like the idea, 👍 Best Regards from Pakistan
