How to start an education recruitment agency UK

I have had a number people comment on my videos and email me asking advice around starting a recruitment business in the education sector based in the UK.
Here are some tips to help you and what type of jobs to target.

Kadz Money Do you recommend doing temp or perm is you want to get started but can only put part time hours in?

I would recommend perm as it is much slower and you can probably spend 1-2 hours a day on it

Hi Sam hows it going? 100% i would use an umbrella company. Their fees are small and you can often factor it in to your pricing, they deal with all the complex payroll.

@@kadzmoney Good thanks, how about you? I'm so glad I found your videos! Great, it seems to be the best way to cover things like pension contributions, paid holidays etc. Do you think it's a better idea to offer supply work from the beginning as supply work is always available or focus on permanent roles first?

I would off both. What i did with the temp side... i got a temporary placement and then i called an umbrella company and they set me up in 2 hours.

Finding these videos very insightful and interesting. I'm currently looking at perhaps going into recruitment as I have just finished university with a 1st in Modern languages. I speak 5 languages (weakest is German at B2 level). I'm trying to collect as much info as possible to see whether this career would be the right fit for me as I'm quite competitive and a big people person. I know this is a generic question, but are there any recommendations you could provide in terms of what sectors I should be looking at and whether or not someone with no sales or phone experience really stands a chance?
