Thank you for all of this information! It’s very overwhelming figuring this stuff out on your own, and this is the first video that has really broken it down and made sense 😭🤍 What was it like starting out from home? I wanted to start off doing that, but it’s very hard to find a good sized space.

You are so welcome! im so glad this helped you in the simplest way, starting from home can be a bit trying but it definitely works for a temporary time. Make sure everything is always spotless and professional looking even the bathroom the clients will use. I used a room dividing partition for the area i used as my home spa to block off just for the extra spa like private feel. Goodluck to you!!

Yes correct, make sure to register the name you want to be your business name as soon as possible. Doesn’t matter when you graduate, you just want to secure your business ahead of time …otherwise you’ll have to change the name of your company if its no longer available by the time you get your license and ready to operate.

I literally had to find all this information on my own I’m so glad you made a video for this. I just want to know if you need any business loans or do the net 30 accounts allow you to purchase everything you need to for your business (Including rent)?

Thats how i felt when i was looking for information just had to piece everything together on my own.. So im sooooo glad this helped you!😄 Also the net 30 accounts i mentioned can get you everything you need as far as office supplies goes but it wont cover the specific things we need as estheticians. So its best to try amazon , cosmoprof , or specific beauty professional shops online for inventory.Unfortunately they do not include rent. Net 30 accounts are only retail accounts so they don’t cover anything outside of their website.

Hi Shavon, Thanks for the great tips. I will be starting aesthetic school this month. Six months down, I will move to a new state once I acquire my license. How do you suggest I plan my marketing in an area (TBD) I will not know anyone?

Best of luck on your new journey!! My suggestion would be to try and use hashtags of the city you will be moving to once you know , also try to partner up with cosmetologist there and ask them if you can be suggested to all their clients for esthetic services. Leave your cards in local salon shops🤎

May I ask you a question please? I'm 55 disabled,was a licensed nail tech but couldn't do it anymore because of the monormers. I know esthisician stay on their feet for the majority of the time they are working but I would only and can only work the esthisician field part time because I am on disability. If I only work Solo part time would this field work for me????

Classes like 1on1 trainings? If thats what you mean then you would google or go to social media and type in esthetician trainings or whatever service you want to learn more of and type that example “lash extension training” For your actual esthetician license you will need to search for a beauty school/college😊

I did all those things for my online business & uline did not give me net 30 i had to pay with my money first & I never tried again but as I add this body sculpting service to business I'm gone try again because this business will need to be a physical address.
