Great advice here. I’ve watched and listened to a lot of Kirby’s videos and podcasts. I don’t know what it is, but he seems like the most genuine, caring person I’ve come across in this space. Have you looked at the assisted living rental model? I don’t know much about it but I’ve heard the return on it is double.

Yes, this is a great model. I invested in one that a friend did and they can be extremely profitable. They can be very hands on though, so you have to decide if it's a good fit.

I have several deal acquisitions videos that will be coming out over the next few weeks. thehacc.org/ is where all the info on the Cook County Section 8 program can be found (that's the one I have worked with mostly). Each program is run by the local housing authority, some are an individual town and some control a whole county. Here is the link to the broader info on Section 8 (now called the Housing Choice Voucher Program): www.hud.gov/program_offices/public_indian_housing/programs/hcv/about. @@LivingOffRentals Hello but during a crisis that we are facing such as this COVID19 and a possible recession do government assistance programs such as Section 8 and VASH affect monthly payments to landlords?

@@Star-wd5enhi! Voucher programs are actually probably the most secure type of rental you can have right now. If anything, right now the government is increasing the amount of rent assistance programs, they are not cutting any payments. The biggest risk to this program is if the government ever defaulted on it's debt or couldn't pay its commitments holistically, and if that were the case, we would have much more major problems than just landlords not getting paid.
