Good instruction. Even better than your original video I watched 3 years ago. I have so many counted x stitch kits. Now I remember why I started buying stamped canvases. 😅. But I like this method so much better. I may dig out a couple counted kits and start one. 😁

A tip that I would like to pass on for marking your aida if it is a darker colour. I put a piece of paper on my light pad and put your aida on top of the paper so you don't mark your light pad. Switch it on and it makes it easier to see and count the holes. Happy stitching. Take care everyone and stay safe 😘😊🤗

I certainly should have done the work in advance on my counted cross stitch and made gridlines. It took me twice as long to stitch incorrectly, rip it all out, then make gridlines and restitch.

I saw briefly on this pattern, that #5 symbol and capital S (#27) has the same color background, so may be difficult with picking correct thread. Or am I mistaken?

Not really, because they are have their own symbols, but threads colors could be very different

Hi, I wanted to ask you how you mark off your progress on the coloured patterns for counted cross stitch? I normally use highlighters on the black and white patterns but I can't see the markers much on colour patterns.

Why is everyone buying from Joy sunday? Im very New so I have no idea! I got myself 3 cross stitch kits (2 stamped, 1 counted) and neither are Joy sunday

Counted cross stitch seems very complicated. I prefer stamped cross stitch much better. I’ve watched this video almost an hour before even one stitch was made. You really seem to need a lot of patience to do counted cross stitch. Thanks for your tutorial though.
