@vladhungrygen,im almost 60(January 16th this month), and im disabled and on medication and I’ve never fasted but im wanting to do a fast but i have no idea how to start with being disabled and i feel like the Lord is wanting or leading me to fast,even if its just from 6am to 6pm to start with. Can you please help me to know how i can get started with a simple fast to start this new year with fasting? I want more clarity and to be able to break strongholds in my life and feel that fasting will help that as well🙏

When I was in jail I fast for 3days straight. No food no water. And when I went to court I got released instead of waiting for my next court date.i was to wait one more month but judge allowed me to get time serve and I got released. That day I ran home to my wife n kids and stop commiting crimes.. ❤❤❤❤❤

May The Holy Spirit intercede for every being on here, honoring those with sincere and genuine requests as well as hearts filled with humility, and humanity as well as genuine! Pretty hard to possess all of what I stated yet it can be done. By the grace of God, I'm living proof. ❤️💯🙏

Day 3. It took me awhile to find this video. I happen to catch your first day video and felt led to join. I started fasting last year I have had 2, 7 day fast: 1 water and 1 total fast. I also done a 40 day fast so I could be a blessing for anyone who thinks you need to be an athlete to do it. I am 59 and not quite in a wheelchair but I am handicapped and use a walker. I also have heart issues and prediabetic. I actually had to stop my diabetic meds when I done the 40 day as it was dropping really low. I have to admit even though this was only 3 days I felt Satan drilling me hard where I had numerous times I went to automatically get food before my spirit reminded me not at this time. It does get rough at times as being disabled I have food in my bedroom. Especially when I done the 40 day I had several times my mind would say "You live mostly in your bedroom who will know"? Then my spirit would remind me that God would know and that was the only one that mattered.

Carl Johnson..hello...I was just reading your post...I'm a lost cause...you are amazing...I see you said..water one day...none the other....and 40 days that's out there...do people fast to hear Yah I've never heard his voice except when he was angry with me...the more people yell at me the worse I get....mind you that's cause I done wrong...for I admitt I am a sinner of the highest order...post if you like....I'm 70...female...cheers....

@@krisellis6384 I can't assume what others fast for. For me it just makes me feel closer to God as he says in his word "when ye fast" not "if ye fast" indicating he expects us to. I can't say I have had any major breakthroughs(that I know at this time) but I will not let it stop me. He has given me the "Peace that passes all understanding" as even though I live on disability and my body is broken and the world is a mess I, worry for nothing.

I never finish my 3 days fasting, never. I never ask people in any social media to pray for me, never. But today, I will ask you my brothers and sisters, please pray for me. Now I realize that all of us have to pray each other as body of Christ, unity in faith & love. I'm so sorry for this, may our Lord Jesus Bless All of us.

I fasted on Sunday for a breakthrough needed for court on the next day, Monday. My church had a potluck on Sunday which I kindly declined to attend. I also had family come over. Surprisingly no one asked why I wasn’t snacking on the food I left out. My mother in law was upset she forgot the dessert she made at home. It was actually a secret blessing to me that she forgot it. I did not tell anyone I was fasting. On Monday I had my breakthrough. Despite possible technicalities, the judge signed the order for guardianship. The case started 2 years ago and it seemed like every time there was an issue. Praise the Lord! Lots of people praying for this too. One tip. for the most part I gave up caffeinated coffee. Every now and then I’ll have a half a cup or so. The reason is because it makes fasting very difficult.

Glory to God, I also enjoy coffee in the morning before going to work and I have realised that before I go on a fast I have to stop taking it a day or 2 before the fast so as to not have the withdraw symtomps.

@@liepollomonaheng6724 I enjoy coffee too which is why I switched to decaf. It’s best to buy decaf that has been made with the Swiss water method. The other way decaf is made involves chemicals which aren’t good for you.

Oh my goodness, fasting is so hard especially in USA. Where I live there's so many places to eat from all over the world. This is why so many people are overweight here, including myself. I'm praying and believing for deliverance in this area in Jesus mighty name Amen

2 months ago, I was really struggling with severe headache that could last for 3 days not knowing why. It always happen after I fast (just 1 day fasting every week for I am a servant of God) Until I watched this, the Lord let me figured out that my headache was caused by withdrawing from coffee during fasting. I''m really a coffee lover. But by watching this , I've learned that preparation is really needed before fasting. I was really encouraged to do more than just 1 day fasting. If caffeine is causing me headache and hinders me to do fasting, i decided to totally withdraw from caffeine. It's always worth it to give up something if it would draw us closer to God. Now I was able to do fasting more than 1 day with no headaches at all.. All glory to God. Thank you Pastor Vlad and Pastor Ilya.

I’m glad you brought up the dangerous side of coming out of a long water fast. As a register dietitian it concerns me that people can force themselves into what we call “refeeding syndrome” which can put you into cardiac arrest so please please research and use caution when coming out of an extended (longer than 5-7 days) all water fast. If you have question I’m more than happy to assist as well!

Longest I’ve ever fasted was 14 days but I’ve been trying to fast for past 2 weeks and it’s been really hard wish me luck I’m trying everyday until I reach 30 days total. I’m not Christian. I love jesus though and anytime I fasted it was for health benefits but it always brought me closer to god everytime.

Our greatest enemy is our mind. As the scripture says.."The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak." I thank you Pastor Vlad and Hungry gen pastors/mentors of your obedience to the Lord. I have been partnering with the Lord to diminish emotional eating as well... we are getting there 💪 been a battle... definitely one of the more difficult things to over come... but God... He is helping me through it all and with His grace because it is sufficient for me... I wholeheartedly agree. The hardest thing I have to do is mental. You may laugh but I'm constantly arguing myself on the inside when I start doing things. It's a fight. I'm always fighting the flesh and it just seems like a challenge. Fasting helps but it's not the hard part it's working through the details of my psyche in relationship to my walk. It's a constant clash between spirit and flash. I know I'm aware of it and I'm constantly repenting it's just a chore which is sometimes believe it or not exhausting.

Pastor Vlad, thanks to your sermon on fasting, I was able to initiate the 3-day fasting for the first time. As you mentioned in the video, taming my thoughts was much more difficult to tame hunger. After three days of fasting, I found myself waking up past midnight as I sensed a big, dark demonic figure with an eye of Horus leaving me. I loudly rebuked the demonic spirit in the name of Jesus Christ and was able to get back to sleep as if nothing had happened. I definitely felt this was a spiritual victory but was unsure what that spirit was and how it had manifested in my life. I would appreciate your take on this.

Thank You pastor for this video!! I experience the same when fasting, it made me want to do it again and longer. God healed me from many health issues and revealed so much of my iniquities from ancestors. One way to make it easier is getting electrolytes in your water, no flavor, no sugar.

I found the opposite for me in regards to food. I didn't cotton on what I had was an eating disorder, untill fasting. I thought it would be easy, as I'd barely eat for not wanting to put time into food, as I was always busy, but the minute I did my first fast, I got Super hungry and couldn't think past food, it was a mind field! I'm finding the more I fast, the better my relationship with food is becoming. Through God retraining my mind while fasting, along with many other breakthroughs and deliverances afterwards over the coming days/weeks. The best part though, your relationship with God 1000% sky rockets. Sometimes feels like it does nothing at first, then you realize how much more in tune to God you become and heightened in one's spiritual awareness. Honestly, so beautiful God gave us such a powerful tool, one of the many! All praise to Him, He's amazing, so kind, and mighty!!

Fasting for me honestly is easier mentally, but I fear at times thinking I can do this because I get the thought, "You're being prideful.." It might be the enemy maybe. Pray for me.

Thank you for this conversation, Pastor Vlad and Pastor Ilya. It was a great way to just unplug from my thoughts and listen to the heart of the Father so I can upgrade my perspective on fasting and even intimacy with Jesus. What I loved about this was the focus on relationship with the Lord, which is something I've been struggling with when I fast. I'm encouraged to give my heart to Jesus so that even when I struggle during fasting, my eyes are on Him and not on my growling stomach before I break it, LOL. Thank you and God bless you. :)

This world has grown so dark. I have been put down and mocked over my situation. Thank you Jesus for never leaving my side, because everyone else has! Jesus! I PRAISE you! Even as I’m struggling providing for my children. I feel like a failure but I will keep faith because faith is all I have left! Since covid I can’t seem to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my health conditions. I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I’m now waitressing and so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. I started homeschooling them because they were having so many issues with bullying. I feel so alone. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my boys. I’m struggling buying groceries I’m so discouraged. Jesus hear my cries I’m so tired. But I have faith! I WILL NOT FEAR! I know God will continue to provide for me and my children. So I praise you Jesus! And thank you in advance! ❤

I'm on medication so, I have to eat but I push it until I feel dizzy. I am practicing. and yes, you receive revelations from fast and breakthroughs. It doesn't take long and then you want to do more because Jesus revealing so much to you. I've started to not eat breakfast and then push through lunch, but I have to have my electrolytes, so I don't pass out. FYI it takes 24 hours to digest one meal and speaking of health fasting keeps you young and your body goes into autophagy, and you start to lose weight plus once you get passed the hunger there is a great peace. I had to start slow. I'm doing a coffee fast right now. goal one meal a day. Be careful when your one medication. LOL.I chew gum to help me too. maybe its cheating but I'm new here.

I would think God would understand that. fasting from hobbies is a great idea and for me fasting from swearing is my biggest vice at the moment. If I don't eat on my medications I could pass out and be in hospital so, fasting not so great for me either. @@JooBitee

Thank you for this video..I learned helpful reminders and encouragement while I am on my 3 days fasting with other brethren in my church for 21 days fasting.. Hunger is PHYSICAL (it subsides in few days), Cravings is MENTAL (is there when you allow certain things that triggers that). I receive. Amen 🙏 🙌

Ya know.. it's funny I was less than 5 minutes into this video, I was going to ask about the problem of needing to eat with congestive heart failure and multiple medications.. but ya know what? The Spirit spoke to me as I was getting ready to type. He showed me the snacks and certain sugarfree beverages . Taking in ONLY what is necessary! May this fasting give us all something out of this!!
