Hello Sir I have E bass flute. My doubt is when we play long notes for eg. "Sa", should it be played in such a way that the frequency is 329.6Hz constant if we check in tuner app? Is it the right way to understand the blowing intensity and correct suur? Same goes for other notes as well individually
@ChandradeepFlute
@ChandradeepFlute 2 жыл бұрын
You dont need to sit with tuner while practicing. Just practice long notes and slowly once you have practiced it enough you will slowly be able to match it with tanpura. Its all by ear and not by checking on tuner.

I started learning a few days ago, and find difficulty in producing a clear sound of sa. I also have problems in placing my fingers back after playing notes. For example: sa re sa. Please suggest a way to overcome this :)

Hey abhinav, it's a slow process. You have to follow proper holding and blowing and constantly practice p to P alankar has i have mentioned in earlier chapters.

Your vidéos are clear and very helpful. Thanks you for sharing ! But I don't understand everything, it's not usual english ( I'm french, not fluent in english, my grandfather was from India) and you 're speaking with high speed...

Hi, First of all, the routine can be given by a person based on the student's progress and current state. Hence its difficult for me to tell you what should be the practice cycle. However, common practice is to learn as many alanakrs as you can and keep rehearsing them in different speeds.
