Aging is the motivation to slow-living. I grew up before cell phones and home computers and gaming systems, things that keep people glued to a screen. I’m trying to find my way back. ❤️

I completely get what you mean - I'm a 90s child so I still spent my childhood and teenage years without smartphones. And even though I love technology and use it a lot, it was a slower life back then that allowed us to disconnect sometimes. Thanks for watching ❤️

Hello 🌼when I was traveling, I wanted to do as much as possible, I was in a hurry, I was rushing. Now I move at my own rhythm, I just enjoy the moment, even if I don’t have time to get around everything planned, I’m not nervous like before, but I remain grateful for what I did

Beautiful cinematography and soundtrack, to match a topic which is so poignant in the rush rush rush society we live in today. Thank you Liz! My motivation for slow living is simply that I feel too overwhelmed by the pace of modern day life, there's little time to stop and enjoy the short time we live in this earth. Even something as simple as being in the moment as leaves blow across the garden can change one's entire day for the better! 😊

Thank you for this gift! 😃❤Yes yes yes to all the 6 concrete steps and I love the idea of handwritten letters like in the old days. I think I will follow you on that and try to do it this year. I hope more and more people in 2024 will start to enjoy the things that are matter most to their lives and just slow down and enjoy every moment! 🙂 Mallorca is such a wonderful place to visit! I have been there once and for sure I want to visit again. But my absolute favorite place from Spain, is Barcelona by far ( already been there 4 times 🙃). Have you ever been there? PS : As you see I am still here even in 2024, so please don't call the police! 😅😅

Okay okay, not calling the police! 😂 Thanks for being here - it makes me so happy ❤️ Yes, I've been to Barcelona in 2018 and it was very beautiful! Unfortunately I was there for a conference and didn't get to see as much but I still had some time to explore and loved it! What are your favorite things to do and see there? I'll take note for my next visit 😊

@@livelikeliz I think I can talk hours for Barcelona and where you have to go and what you can do to have a good time, but I must control myself 😅I don't know what you managed to see when you were there, but just to name a few places that is a must to visit : first something that you will like a lot is the Gothic Quarter ( the historic center of the old city ), there you will see a lot of medieval landmarks 😁 next is of course Las Ramblas the most busiest street in the center of the city but there I think is only one place that is worthy to visit ( one of my favorites ) that is Boqueria Market, there you can taste and smell every traditional Catalan flavor from local producers, another place is Sagrada Familia the big old historic church, another one is the castle of the Montjuic that you can go there by teleferic and you can have the best view of the city. I must admit that I described what I did in my first visit there! 😅 This is just a few well known places when you can officially visit Barcelona with a lot of free time ( maybe you have been in some of them ). When and if you will go, feel free to ask me again so I can give you some hints/tips for some not so well known places that is worthy to visit and also for some good places with very good food! 😉 Sorry for the long message! 🙃

@@trsg Awww thank you so so much! I will take note! I have indeed been to some of the places (e.g. Sagrada Familia) but obviously there is still so much more to explore! Will definitely let you know when I go there again and you can either give me some insider tips or you just have to come to and be my guide and show me around yourself 😄

I’m still at the start of the video But I am always anxious and in a rush, my whole life My first instinct was to put the video on fast mode 1.5x!! Ironic😢 I hope I get there cause life of anxiety makes me unaware
