Doctor , I have always been told that I should not take xuboxon with xanax but it is the only way that I feel 100% well.I've been like this for many years, I know it can give a respiratory arrest,but I used heroin with cocaine plus all the other substances that appeared, so I have a HIGH TOLERANCE TO DRUGS.I only use 0.5 mg of xanax. What could you tell me Dr.? I know it shouldn't be done but nothing has happened to me, the fentanyl did give me multiple overdoses but many and the truth is that I prefer to be like this and not risk dying from the other.Thanks for the information and I would really like to know if there are exemptions like mine, take Xubo plus 0.5 mg xanax?

Dr. B MY husband and I have been on 16 mgs of suboxone for 18 months now. It has saved our marriage, our relationship with family, we've saved so much money. Our doctor is fantastic. I appreciate the encouraging words for people that may not understand it ok to take this medication and realize it helps SO MANY family's. God Bless

Just don’t try and go up to three, be a very long wean n still hard detox.Ive gone off 2 before and my heart felt like steel but if u plan on taking it forever if u can afford it n ur drs don’t care then take it but as u get much older try to take one a day so ur breathing isn’t affected

Dr B, I'm a new subscriber, love your channel. My pain mngmt Doc at the VA took me off morphine 15mg ir 3xa day & I started Belbuca 150mcg 2x a day to titrate up to 450mcg 2x a day. I'm on day 2 ( 2, 150mcg am & pm). I'm having issues with my urinary system. (Trouble urinating) Certain meds always cause this issue. My Doc is calling Mon to check on me. I expressed concern with this side effect when I got prescribed Belbuca as I read about this before. Doc didn't know about it. Thank you 4 all you do.

Just for pain because the Percocets were too strong and it was affecting my breathing and I didn’t look for anything. Obviously I’m using it off label but it does work for pain .

I really think new opioid derivatives along with the other cut in the street stuff is making this process much more difficult especially in Philadelphia.. Not impossible because I am currently stable on subs so there is still hope!

Knowing that Fent makes it so u may have to wait 2 to 5 days to start subs is going to makes starting a nightmare to most. It's essentially stopping cold turkey to then get on subs. Regulation has pushed us into a place where everything is fent now and it led us to this place.

@@Chronickoyour lucky friend. Most people I talk to find fent has caused us to get sick much much quicker, but have to wait to take subs much much longer. Yes, it's better than 7 days cold turkey. But 5 years ago getting on subs used to be relatively smooth. Now, it's 16 hours of full w/ds and that's not counting how long it takes to get that sick... 24+ minimum. Bac in the day, I could take subs in 16 hours from last use no problem.

i wish my dr was as good as this guy. mine made me taper off clonopin in 2 weeks and would only put me on subs if my urine was clean of benzo's.......so.......i had to keep using dope for 2 weeks in fact even more dope to get thru benzo withdraw. thats just not right, most only care about harm reduction that they might do directly.

Im just saying i couldve been put on the lowest dose of 2mg a day, and that was enough to curve all my cravings, and withdrawal. But I put on 8mg per day, so i just split it 4 pieces and that worked perfect 4 me. But my opiate tolerence was nearly gone when I got on it. For me its mostly just a mental urge that I cant say no to anymore.

I keep getting sick I started doing the bernese method and everytime I get to the full 8 mg is throwing me in to bad withdrawal. Recently found that the dope I am doing has been laced with methadone and as well as many other substances and I would have to stay clean like 5 days. What can I do from getting so sick. I am doing bicycle heath. Can u help me. The only thing I can think of is my herion having methadone in it. I have been on suboxone before and it never did this which I was using just pain pills then. And now it's herion. Please I really want this to work. It's not talked about the herion being laced with methadone fentynal and even meth. Can u shed light on this topic.and what I can do to help me from going into preticapted withdrawal. And only happens when I reach 8mg. I start dosing at.25 and work my way up to the 8 while using. Over a 7 day period time. I scared I am going to die if I keep doing the dope. As many of my friends and own mother have already passed away because of fentynal being in it

Taper with real pills for 4 to 5 days use gabapentin during and after last day of Taper it will give you 24hr before you induct suboxone. Good luck! You got this!! Lyrica works also instead gabapentin

even though dr B talks bad about them i would say use kratom and gabapentin. they are miracles when it comes to withdrawls.....careful with the kratom its easy to take too much and get nausea. if i had kratom and gabapentin 20 years ago i probably would of had a better life. (i wouldnt of had to overtake xanax to try to get thru withdrawls and embarrass myself at work and get fired from a few jobs)

I'd love to know that to there are no great drs to explain how this guy does an ive been on xanax for ptsd an seizure, anxiety ive started on my own an not by dr an done well staying below 4mg a day I just cut the strip very small to help im wondering if that's okay while I'm on xanax I just learned it's dangerous to have xanax an suboxone I don't wanna die an cant stop the xanax an not ready to stop the suboxone either I was on opiates 10+ years while on xanax not had a opiate for 2yrs an was introduced to suboxone to help with pain back surgery hip surgery 4th disc degenerative disease IC with hunners ulcers suboxone has helped me in alot of ways gave better life my thoughts an feelings are back

@@guzman818 I have no experience with Methadone. I took 8mg of suboxone and it worked on the withdrawal and on the mental obsession. Saved my life. I would suggest Suboxone because I took it for 16 years. Good luck to you!

How long should I wait if I take er oxy (real oxy) my dose is high 270mg at once 2-3 time a day . I chew the pill dosnt that make it instant release ? I was told 12 hrs but since my dose is so high would I have to wait 24hrs

That is an extremely high dose. You have to wait til all the withdrawal symptoms are high on the COWS list. If I was you I'd definitely wait 24+ hours ! It's the hardest part " sick and waiting " but it's worth it!! Hang in there.

I accidentally overdosed on methadone and almost died. I had been on methadone for 10 years at 80 mg a day. I came off because I thought I was ready so my doctor weaned me off and it took a year. I didn't know that later on down the road the cravings came. So I was buying off the street. I didn't think anything about it so I took 8 methadone (my usual dose from day 1) any I went unconscious because I was on gabapentin too. I had taken 2400 mg of gabapentin right before. I went unconscious and the next day my sis found me foamed at the mouth and unresponsive. I was on life support for a week. I had aspirated my vomit. I was just a mess. I don't remember any of this. The docs thought I would be nothing more than a 4 year old if I was able to come out of it. Well thank God I am completely normal. I am now going to a Suboxone clinic and it has saved my life. It is working for me great and I go to therapy and everything.

Because it differs depending on the method. The bernese method is one way, and the other way is to stop all opiates/street fent until you are in WD and score at least a 17 on the cows test, then you can make the jump to subs, and titrate up to a dose that works. It is addictive after a week, so research. I ramped up and down and off in 5 days and am ok. Research everywhere you can

You have to wait before taking it for 24 + hours . Or you will have precipitated withdrawals !! Which are horrible. After you take it all the opiates will start to come out of your body. Within an hour ypu should feel much better. Good luck 🙏

i take 8mg 1 pill a day and its just fine for me. i weigh 250lbs and was shooting 10-15 bags a day

why not?? if you have to take them youre already hooked on something. better off on subs than anything else. unless youre a hero that can cold turkey but we all know how rare that is if it even lasts more than a year. i'll probably be on them for life due to other chronic problems. i'm fine with that. constipation for life is prob the only downside

@@gristamshackleford2102 I mean as long as your aware of the how deep the addiction is...than cool. Many ppl don't know what they're getting themselves into. Opiates and heroin we're sick for what? 4-7 maybe 10 days TOPS. Coming off these partial agonists much longer. Half life is brutal. *Course these days the heroin isn't heroin...it's fentanyl...completely different monster. And I agree with you though...like if we can't achieve abstinence (we can we just lie to ourselves) and one has to be on something ...than yea I think Suboxone is much better than the alternative if you have long term access and have a plan. People have beat long year Suboxone addiction...they're frikin warriors. It is possible. Course all things possible with GOD.

There are many organisations and GP's that offer services, including prescribing for drug dependence in most EU countries and in France definitely. If you haven't already go and talk to your Dr. and they will be able to direct you to the relevant services, even if they cannot treat or prescribe for you themselves.

That is good but I was more referring to the OP that there are many Drs. and orgs. in his home country that can and will help him rather than him trying to contact a clinic (via a very expensive phonecall) on the other side of the world that, as far as I am aware, can not help unless he emigrates to the US. Pretty much agreeing with what you said earlier to him is all, I try my best to look out for fellow addicts and help as best I can.

yo i have a question!! so suboxone has helped me A LOT! i have gained shit i have never seen myself being where i am today! got my high school diploma, drivers license, a car, even finished my probation about half a year ago! so lately ive been trying to i guess take less because suboxone tablets fucked with my teeth! im not saying this whole situation is because of suboxone because its definitely abuse of meth. so i feel like if i take less its less time in my mouth. after taking 3 8mg a day everyday for 2+ years. so i dropped 16mg a day. at first it honestly felt GREART i started having what i call feelings, super intense. i felt amazing but slowly over the first week, towards the end it just went away. now ive been alright i dont want to use and i swear I WONT. ive been havin some VERY intense cravings and vidi memories thru out my days, almost every day, but i fight them 1 by 1. how long will this last till im back to having 0 cravings? a couple of months? weeks? its been longer then days for sure. note that im still taking 8MG bup! also dont know if im just thinking im feeling this way, highly doubt it! but take my sub in the morning it allows my to get thru my day with 0 w/ds even can get thru the night when i wake up and get around at 10AM i start to have sniffles, and sometime loose stools, when i w/d of normal opioids i get this relief from stretching, that too! i know that this probably isnt the smartest plan yet it but like i said its not as harsh on my teeth and mouth. all i want know is if i get back to the way i felt on 24mg if i continue to stay on 8mg

Subs don’t affect your teeth it’s probably from your past use. Why do you want to lower your dose ? Doesn’t sound like your ready .

@@mooziet652 onh no bro it for sure has contributed to it. before i got onto maintenance therapy my teeth were good! i didnt have one cavity my breath never smelled bad i had 0 sensitivity. after about a year into therapy i started to see a decline in my mouths overall health. i would go to bed and wake up with a dry mouth. no matter how much water i drink it still happens! plus i have to hold 3 times a day bup/naloxone tablet in my mouth for 10 minutes. i started to see that would make my teeth smell afterwards so i would wait 3 minutes to brush my teeth! i was actually put on subutex and that honestly has helped me so much! i would get these little tiny pills that had 0 taste. but my new doctor anted me to try these bup/naloxone tablets! i decided to just stop taking so much so that i didnt have to hold three tablets in my mouth for 10 minutes each!
