Sadie is SO happy to be talking with her friend - and someone who truly lives original - Lauren Daigle! The two friends chat about everything from why Lauren chose to take 5 years off, how we can discover more about ourselves and who we are in Christ, and how Lauren is able to live life as she preaches and sings. Sadie remembers a moment in a late-night drive thru with Lauren where they really did see Jesus everywhere! Lauren shares some tips for taking a purposeful approach to breathing through panic attacks that she learned after a particularly dark season in her life and how the kindness of a stranger on a plane completely changed how she pursued joy in the midst of feeling powerless. And don't miss Sadie sharing how Honey has started incorporating Scripture into her own life when she feels afraid - it's a good lesson for ALL of us! Lauren's self-titled album is available for pre-order: shorturl.at/alBY7

NO HATE TO LAUREN but idk what podcast it was but she was getting interviewed and the person asked her how do you feel abt homosexuality and she said I can’t really speak on that cause I have so many friends and family that are homosexual so i don’t really know if it’s right or wrong so you’ll just have to read the Bible and find out!! It clearly says in the Bible man is not to be with man and woman is not to be with woman we need to stop being Luke warm christians and either be all in or all out because if we are Luke warm we are going to hell and it says that in the Bible! But if you read this you should have china McLain on the podcast

Anytime we see anyone say something negative about Lauren, we should copy and paste this in the comment to show them who Lauren truly is. Her heart is beautiful and loves Jesus, and I just don't get how anyone could ever say anything negative about her. We got your back, LD!

This whole podcast just spoke to me. To share a bit of my testimony: I struggled with anxiety attacks for over 12years on a daily basis. And about two or three months ago God completely freed me from the spirit of fear. And about a month ago I just decided to start living slow, 'cause it felt like fast living was just getting me down. Save to say I now get to experience more and do more than I used too. God is miraculous 💕

I'm glad you guys are being authentic and acknowledging that it is normal to have anxiety, majority of Christian's treat other's as an outcast if someone says they struggle with anxiety. Its refreshing to know that you guys struggle with anxiety and its okay to struggle with it as well because we're all human. I've always grown up in a traditional Christian home and always judged if someone would say that they struggle with anxiety, and accused of not having a close relationship with Jesus. I was always told that If you have a relationship with Jesus, then you shouldn't be struggling with anxiety. Long story short its just refreshing to see women a faith, talk about anxiety and being relatable to their listeners.

Love, love Lauren Daigle! I had no idea she had dealt with panic and anxiety. I too have dealt with panic attacks, anxiety, and depression and it was Scripture, the Word of God, and Jesus that totally got me through that. Her description of panic attacks were much like mine. When she told the story of being on the plane and the lady telling her "if you trust me, I will get you to the other side safely" HIT my spirit man and I started weeping. That sounded just like Jesus and now that I am "on the other side", I pray to be that for someone else going through what I had gone through. Thank you for this interview. This is one of my favorites now! Bring her back often! ❤

I have to tell you this came at the perfect time for me. I’m getting on a flight later today that has occupied my mind since it’s been booked. I’m going to see my family for the first time in over a year, and we’re going through a lot of different hardships. The enemy has been attacking me left and right the past couple weeks through anxiety with overwhelming physical symptoms like Lauren mentioned, a car wreck, feelings of isolation, loneliness, and fear, and bomb threats made to the airport I’m flying into. I’ve been praying all morning Psalm 91, for wisdom, peace, a sound mind, the knowledge that God is always protecting me and with me through it all, and for the person or group making these bomb threats to be touched by God so miraculously that their hearts would be changed radically to know they’re loved and have value. All that to say, this episode has served as evidence the Lord is actively working to comfort my weary mind, body, and soul. He has perfect timing in His provision. Thank you, Sadie and Lauren for doing it all for the Lord, and thank you Jesus for their willing hearts to speak Your truth over us.

This episode is the most impactful to me of all of Sadie's podcasts. I can't begin to count the number of panic attacks I've had in my life. Lauren's advice on how to overcome panic attacks is so great and absolutely effective. In May of 2022, I was sitting on the bathroom floor in my hotel room listening to Sadie's sermons to help calm me during a panic attack. Listening to her speak God's word helped me slow my heart rate and settle my body down. God bless both of your ministries ❤😇❤

This is so encouraging! I’m 43 and have been through so much hardship that it’s held me back and I’ve had to put so many things on pause mostly from problems due to anxiety medication as well as anxiety itself and some depression. The meds though caused me a lot of problems. Benzodiazepines cause dependency. They can be okay short term, very short term, that’s it. Disclaimer: don’t stop your meds cold turkey and I’m not a doctor. I cried when she said we all feel like we have to accomplish certain things by a certain age. That’s so me and I feel I’ve lost out but trying to look forward and not get caught up in my age. I’ve had severe panic attacks as well and love what she said about that. Benzodiazepines made them so much worse in the long run so if you can avoid them, that’s have the battle.
