You're right Claus. It is a mental thing. Even to me,wanting to be a musician it was very difficult to sit down to practice technique. In my case It was by a lack of direction and that I tried to figure out by myself how to practice,what to practice,how to practice..And failed many times(Because I didn't found anybody to teach me what I wanted to learn where I live). I didn't have laptop nor internet until a few years.I learned classical guitar and musical theory (co's it was the only thing I could do in my town)and it was fine to self-taught in acoustic and electric rock guitar but I stucked in intermediate player. I suscribed to your KZfaq Channel and your web guitarmastery two years a go but I still had thoughts that blocked me dade past experiences and frustrations. But when something Inside of me went out and said: -I want this,I CHOOSE to achieve this, to have high level of technique in my instrument.(wich is what I wanted since many years a go but I was accepting the limitant thoughts that came in my mind as true) Then I decided consciently follow your teachings and buy some of your courses. Now I practice consistently and with amazing and motivational results 😲😃. Thanks for your wonderful brilliant job helping us to achieve this. In my town and even my country, the music is not taking serious by the most of people and we have very little or any resources to get better rock guitar player. Many many Thanks Claus because you changed in my life something that is Really Important. I feel very very grateful. 🙏🙏👌🎸.Best.

You're right, you have to be disciplined to do the work

Reminds me of that great Buddhist bumper sticker that says: "Don't believe everything you think" as in you will have thoughts about practice and motivation that come and go all on their own. Your brain thinks them automatically. The key is to just ignore those irrelevant thoughts and go sit in the chair every morning at 8am (my time) and play. All the thoughts just seem to melt away....!

So… all your followers gave up to play guitar. 😂😉
