To Download Free app directly without authentication,
1. Turn off Face ID from iPhone for Download apps from app store.
2. Turn off Password Required option, to download free app from app store.
3. Password Required not working for free app download, Reset all settings of your iPhone & Try again.
first I recommend turning off Face ID or Touch ID on iPhone from the settings for download the app from the app store. if Face ID or Touch ID isn't enabled on your iPhone then skip this step and follow the next step.
Turning off Face ID, open the Settings app on iPhone and Scroll to Face ID and Passcode, Enter your iPhone passcode then Turn off Toggle for iTunes & App Store.
once you disable it, you can move to the second step to turn off Password to download the free app.
Next, Re-open the Settings app on iPhone, Tap on your Profile Name at the top, and Scroll to the Media and Purchases option.
Now, Select the Password Settings option.
and Disable the Required Password toggle. also for privacy reasons, we can turn on the Password required for Purchased.
Tap on done to save, and Don't need a password to download a free app from the app store on the iPhone and iPad.
That's it.
here I am downloading the Live wallpaper app from the app store and my iPhone is not asking password for the download app.
if turning off the password for Download free app from the app store is not working then try after reset all settings of your iPhone.
This resetting option not erase media files and data from your iPhone. so you can try the number 2 solution again and fix it your self.
Open the Settings app on iPhone and Scroll to General and Scroll to Reset option.
Now, Tap on the Reset all settings option. enter the passcode and Verify the reset all settings option. your iPhone will reboot once in this process. Now, Re-try after your iPhone is turned on.
