This was outstanding. Not only was it realistic, empathetic of both sides and extremely informative but it provided some AMAZING easy to implement solutions. Absolutely loved!

I enjoyed Ryan approach regarding the attitude employers should have towards their candidates and maybe future employees. It's not only a matter of respect and curtesy, but also practicality. When people feel valued, their creativity and capacity of production goes up to sky. The problem is that personnel of inhuman resources do not focus on human beings but rather they treat them like objects.

Yeah just as much as candidates are tired of having YOU as recruiters ghosting THEM! You deserve it!

This is one of the first interviews I've seen (on recruiting) where the person interviewed, in this case Ryan, gave a lot of useful information to prevent ghosting when it comes to working with both clients and candidates when making placements. For once this was NOT a waste of my time.

Perhaps if companies themselves didn't ghost candidates, post fake job ads online, offer insulting salaries, and withdraw job offers at the last minute, maybe candidates wouldn't ghost them back. My friend is a rebel entrepreneur with an axe to grind against competitor companies that offer employees crap offers, and lately he has been ghosting and trolling job interviews as a hobby.
