Most women will go through heavy periods at some point in their lives, so it's a super important topic to tackle. With this video, I really want to show you that you don't have to suffer from heavy bleeding all of your life, there are natural remedies that you can try to normalise the bleeding. Different remedies will work for different people, but there are so many different things you can try. In this video, I discuss the three most common root causes of heavy periods, the supplements and herbs that can stop heavy bleeding, and also define what is officially considered a heavy period. I thought every woman had heavy periods like mine for a very long time until I realised how wrong I was. I want to make sure you know the difference, too!

j k It's likely to be Estrogen Dominance, possibly with low progesterone. In this series, there is a video about raising progesterone and two videos about estrogen dominance. But first you need to test your hormones to know what exactly is out of balance. xx

I use a menstrual cup and the first 3-4 days of my period, I have to empty it every hour on the hour and at night I have to wear two pads and set an alarm for about every 2 hours to empty. I've also talked to my doctor and she had me have an ultrasound and found nothing, so she isn't concerned. I feel like it is too much. 🙄🙄 I guess idk where I was going with this but I hope I can find something to help! I literally can't funtion the first 3 days, it really effects my life. 😔😔

Get your hormone levels tested. If you doctor won't agree, you can order blood or saliva tests for progesterone and estradiol yourself. It's very likely that something is very off with the hormones if you're bleeding that long. Wishing you lots of healing!

You forgot potassium. Increasing potassium means less insulin thus less estrogen.. also helping with the high blood pressure. Also K2 because the whole thing is likely caused from too much tissue calcium in the body. You don't need the progesterone. The body will make it if you add zinc every second day. It's not an estrogen problem. It's an excess tissue calcium problem. The high calcium causes the body to produce too much insulin and estrogen and pushes down your potassium giving you high blood pressure, low blood sugar, anemia and periods from hell. The excess calcium will cause the body to be deficient in vitamin D to protect itself from the high calcium and you will get all the illnesses associated with a vitamin D deficiency.... but no amount of vitamin D will help.. it will make it worse!!! Vitamin D will cause your body to absorb more calcium in the diet and you do not want any more calcium. It's a double edge sword. If you keep eating high calcium and taking in more vitamin D in this condition you will die plain and simple... especially with insufficient vitamin K2 and Retinol. What worked for my wife: Magnesium glycinate 500 mg ... 2 times a day Vitamin k2 mk7 100mcg ... 3 times a day...with fat selenium 200 mcg... once a day full complex methylated B vitamins ... once a day unsulfured blackstrap mollasses.... 2 tablespoons in a glass of water 3 times a day...this is to give you 100% of your daily manganese. Cut completely after 2 months.. you will not be anemic after 2 months of this. Do not take it more than 2 months or your iron, calcium and zinc level will get too high and cause inflammation. Zinc bisglycinate 30 mg .. every 2nd day...... cut completely after 2 months Apple cider vinegar... 2 tablespoons in a glass of water 3 times a day. Lugols iodine 5%... 2 drops in a glass of water in the morning.... cut once your better. Iodine will lower estrogen. molybdenum ...150 mcg... one every second day... cut after 2 months. chlorophyll ... one teaspoon every day. Vitamin C (absorbic acid)... 1000 mg.... 3 times a day. Not whole food vitamin c surprisingly.... but taken with one orange each time. Note: We introduced the vitamin C in the 4th week and 10 days later we saw dramatic results but it wasn't before she started eating more potassium foods that the high blood pressure resolved. Also note that the magnesium gradually pushed down the sodium levels bringing the sodium /potassium levels in better balance... and also the calcium levels. Pink Himalayan salt... salt your food... but remember the potassium is most important. Estro Sense.... only 2 a day.. cut after 2 months. and if you want to get sick for a week before you get better...... cod liver oil that is 90% vitamin A Retinol which guides calcium out of the body.... but go easy on this one... only one 650 mg capsule a day..... and cut completely after 2 months. Note: read the label and make sure it's 90% Retinol or you will make yourself sicker if the cod liver oil is mostly vitamin D. Do not make this mistake.. read the label as all cod liver oils are not created equal. It has to have 10 times more Retinol than vitamin D in it. Increase dietary potassium to 4700 mg a day from foods. This is important to keep your body from making excess insulin that will push your blood sugar down and your estrogen high. After first week... the asthma... gone after the 5th week.. the periods from hell and the anemia gone after the 9th week .. the high blood pressure gone..... one happy wife... this is a true story. Her periods are normal now and painless. Good luck with it.... it worked for my wife..... but I also did a hair tissue mineral analysis on her and I can tell you straight up that her hair tissue calcium level was 6 times normal. So in her case it really was a high tissue calcium problem and no doctor could spot it ever.. it went on for more than 6 years and she suffered a lot. She went through pure horror wearing a diaper... the bleeding would not stop. Her periods lasted 3 weeks at a time. She was crying for years and no doctor could help. This is not medical advice. I'm only posting what worked for her. Note if your going to take K2 for long periods it may be a good idea to add some vitamin E to that as they are antagonists... so K will deplete E and E will deplete K. You don't want to be eating any dairy or cheese at all or even seafood. But you can eat all the butter you want as long as you don't brown it. Eggs, chicken, pork and butter all have a bit of K2 in it but not enough as you need about 300 mcg a day to see benefits. Stay away from calcium like the plague. There is already too much in the food and Vitamin K2 is the only thing that will take that calcium out of the soft tissue and put it back in the bones where it belongs. All that calcium can build up anywhere in your body including your brain, arteries, reproductive system and turn it into cement....calcifying you...giving you tumors , cysts and fibroids and more. thus making people fubar... and it's completely reversible... and the doctors are completely unaware because they don't test your hair tissue levels.

@@tinachristopher2503 Here is an update! I narrowed it down to a potassium, Magnesium and iodine deficiency. If you have periods from hell, ovarian cysts or fibroids..... eat Potassium like crazy.. make sure you get more than 4700 MG a day. Potatoes and bananas healed my wife... eat potatoes and bananas like crazy and your going to see results in days. It's a high tissue calcium problem for sure so the bare basics for anyone would be to take 500 mg of magnesium a day and 300 mcg of vitamin K2 a day with fat and 200 mcg of selenium and a drop or 2 of Lugols iodine in the morning.... and eat potatoes and bananas like crazy and your going to heal... add some beef to that to get some zinc which will also help your body make progesterone. The high potassium (and phosphorous) diet is going to bring your calcium down. Anyone who tries this let me know how this works for you. Good luck! One potato has about 900 mg of potassium and one banana has about 400 mg of potassium.... you need 4700+ MG a day// so eat lots and lots and you will see results in days no kidding I solved these illnesses they are a calcium overload and magnesium, iodine and potassium deficiency.. as simple as that. Here is another cure nobody knows about: How to heal warts and make them disappear in weeks.. take 1000mcg of biotin daily along with your regular dose of the full complex of B vitamins. Who would have thought that Biotin completely gets rid of warts. I know another lady who had a hysterectomy to get rid of her fibroids and ovarian cysts. Losing the uterus did not solve the problem she ended up getting emphysema years later... so I would assume that Potatoes and bananas, iodine , selenium and Magnesium will also reverse emphysema as well... but do not take my word for it. I may be right... but I'm not a doctor.. I just can't stand watching people suffer and I do what I can to help. My wife's cousin is a doctor and she was no help at all. Her cousin surely learned something from us. The doctor is just there for the paycheck. They are not going to do research and read for 12 hours a day for 2 years like I did to try to figure it out. Special note: It's probably good to take the full complex of B vitamins too as anything to do with calcium loss into the tissue is PROBABLY EATING TOO MUCH SUGAR AND RICE AND ALCOHOL..... so you are absolutely low in Vitamin B 1 thiamine and if you don't cut the sugar and get some B vitamins your going to ruin your heart.
@omegafile
@omegafile 5 жыл бұрын
@@tinachristopher2503 The calcium builds up because there is not enough Magnesium in the food. Magnesium for sure you have to supplement for life... unless your eating 8 cups of vegetables a day.. which nobody does... and most of the soils that food is grown on these days is depleted anyway.

+Geanina Murea Then I would check estradiol and progesterone levels. They often get out of balance postpartum. Low estrogen for example will cause hair loss, and without enough estrogen, you can't have a strong ovulation, which is likely to send levels of progesterone downy, too. 💖

There are plenty of herbs and supplements that could help PCOS, just research it, or even better find a naturopath or a chinese medicine practitioner. Vitex could stop the bleeding, but it doesn't stop for everyone with PCOS, here's an article about it: www.larabriden.com/vitex-for-period-problems/. Shepherd's Bush is another herb that is often used for continued bleeding like this. xx

I've had my periods more than a month (Nov-Dec). First, I got long period like this in May-June. then, I came to my ob-gyn doctor, he told me there's nothing wrong, it's just about hormone. so he gave me some pills ( norestil/nosthyra). when I drank it for the first time, my period stop. He told me to visit him again to make control. For about 2 months, I came to control my periods & he gave me sometimes Primolut N. the next month I got my normal period (about 1 week), but the next two months I didn't get my periods. in in November 12, I got my periods till now. I just drank sometimes Nosthyra tablet / Primolut N to cease my bleeding. I took the pills and the blood is decrease, but not stop . I'm really scare taking the pills in a long time. is there any effect of the pills & what do u think should I do ?

You really need to see your doctor because it's not normal to still be bleeding two months later. The pills obviously don't agree with your body and causing some sort of hormonal imbalance. I wouldn't suggest masking it with shepherd's purse or any other herb.

I've had 2 emergency blood transfusions, 3 unit each. With the first one I lived with my blood count well below 5.6. I know this because 3 weeks later when I saw my doctor for the firsts time my count was 5.6, and I felt 100% better than weeks earlier. I had taken the garbage out in 20 degree weather without a coat because I was afraid I would be tempted to sit down and rest outside. The doctor said that I should have gone to the ER because even then my color didn't look right and ultimately a blood count of 5.6 is below what sustains life. The ER took me ahead of people who couldn't breathe. I didn't think I was that bad because I have been anemic all my life. I had always been on a 23 day cycle and lost probably twice the blood of most women. So I was conditioned for this disaster. When its really bad I go through an OB Ultra (largest size) AND 10 hour pad in less than 5 minutes. This can last for several says, easing up a bit a night when I lay down. After a lot of failed options and I was put on an acid that allows the blood to re-absorb, but you can only take it for 5 days. I will try the Shepard's Purse, because it is happening again. I cannot do another transfusion during Covid-19 in the USA.

I haven't been able to find the explanation why, but I saw it mentioned in a few different places. I also follow a couple of iron deficiency groups on Facebook and I've seen many times women saying that their periods got lighter after iron infusions or iron supplementation. There is definitely some link there. Have you had your progesterone and estradiol levels checked?
